  1. If the OBC is refundable - yes. If it's non-refundable - no. Here's a thread from February, there are others as well.. Not everyone is constantly monitoring the forum, the people that know were likely not online during those 80 minutes your thread was active before making your own decision...
  2. You can also reserve a seat using the touchscreens near the elevators/stairs. I believe you can only reserve on those for the people in your stateroom.
  3. How does that work, direct charge to your credit card instead of the on-board account? As I noted before - when you buy the CND's they charge the full amount to your on-board account and then credit the value of half of them back as OBC that is eligible to use to offset the purchase of the CND's making the net charge for the CND's half of what their value is.
  4. As a solo, I paid a 100% solo supplement on the Norwegian Bliss and sailed in a balcony vs. paying my own airfare and sailing in a Studio, the difference was around $60. This was in 2019 when the offer was free or reduced airfare, I think the airfare was a line item worth around $200 additional on the fare. I'm looking at booking a cruise next Spring, the airfare line is around $360 which is, again, for a solo so with the current BOGO promo I'm getting the airfare at 50% off. 6 weeks or so, but NCL is now down to about 30 days (it even says this on the booking screen!) One connection in each direction (2 flights each way). about 24 hours. I asked for a one-day deviation, the flight got me to LA from the East coast by noon on travel day. Prior to the deadline for making such changes the cruise line will let you request a deviation of 1-2 days. Once the deadline has passed - no changes. I didn't have any issues, but that was now 3 years ago. Would I do it again? If the airline industry settles out and becomes more reliable I would certainly consider it. I didn't read other replies, just contributed my answers.
  5. Yeah, I think that change happened sometime in 2019. There are some (recent, within the last 6 months or so) previous threads on the topic, you can find them using the search box...
  6. I don't think you can do that anymore. I believe the only non-refundable OBC that can be used to offset CND's is the OBC given for the BOGO promotion.
  7. You can @shadowmeboy to get their attention, and from that you can also see their profile to find content they've posted. Here's a link to every thread they've created, I don't see one for Alaska this year - https://boards.cruisecritic.com/profile/446324-shadowmeboy/content/?type=forums_topic&change_section=1
  8. The Haven 2 bedroom family villa 14900 does not seem to have that indication.
  9. With the rumors that it will cost money I wonder if they have. It costs them money to license it...
  10. So you know what I'm talking about. Does it not appear to be that concept or something similar?
  11. None of the Haven rooms appear (by the deck plans) to have the slides running through the actual balcony, just routed past them. The four rooms on each deck that are directly impacted by slides running through the deck next to the balcony (it's not a passenger-accessible space) are a family suite and regular balcony (or possibly family balcony) on each side. None of those are designated as Haven.
  12. Ya know - that mini golf looks like a new concept I've seen elsewhere. The balls have sensors of some kind in them and there are challenges for each hole, LCD screens on each hole show your score and provide an interactive aspect. Found it - https://www.puttshack.com/the-game
  13. The on-board pre-day cost (non-upgrade) is listed right in the info on the NCL site - https://www.ncl.com/onboard-packages/internet-packages If you want to turn in your free-at-sea minutes toward the price of the package it will save you (I believe) $100, but you can't have used any of your minutes yet, though that could be at the discretion of the internet manager if you go see them. This thread has info - https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2837942-ok-i-got-some-wifi-updates/
  14. That's a risk you take when booking a brand new ship in a new class before it's even completed. You were fortunate that you could shift your room.
  15. yeah, those "inside corner" balcony rooms look like they're going to be for people on my kind of budget. They're not going to be popular, that's for sure. 14792 and 14192 with those tiny balconies with the predominant view facing aft...
  16. Slides had been a topic of discussion in the "Everything..." thread on this build for quite a while, before they were installed even, and I think even before bookings opened. Sorry, but I wouldn't trust the deck plans from a 3rd-party website when it comes to a new-build ship. I get that you were trying to get as much info as possible, but until it's completed or NCL has actually posted the final deck plans anything else is a guess.
  17. If one of the passengers in the cabin activates their minutes they no longer qualify for the upgrade pricing as the upgrade is offered at the time of the activation. You'd have to sweet-talk the internet manager to allow you to upgrade on day 2 if you've activated and used some of your time...
  18. The promotional T&C's explain it all... https://www.ncl.com/about/terms-and-conditions/promotions
  19. Correct. They charge your account the $500 but then issue the OBC to offset part of it.
  20. This ship sounds, and looks, complicated as it relates to food and drink. The NCL forum is going to be FILLED with people trying to figure things out...
  21. When I was on the Joy in March there was at least one night you could get crepes in the buffet. Made a "late" trip there (after a show) to get it. They MAY have been available every night, I don't know...
  22. If Epic has touchscreens near the elevators and stairs you can also use those. No need to book each cabin separately, just one person books for the party size desired.
  23. Yes - use it or lose it. I am also curious what the other poster found out...
