I always like to eat alone. Sharing a table would be my worse nightmare. I have never had a problem getting a table for myself. I always go for fixed dining late sitting so have never had experience of open dining. I have seen queues early on voyages for open dining. There are sharing tables available at all sittings.

Just checked. There is no gala evening/ theme scheduled. It just says Smart Attire for every evening.

Oh good idea but don’t know how to use phone calendar. Just use it for looking at the monthly calendar. I do print out my booking confirmations and keep them in a folder. Also keep the card they send you a few weeks after booking. You are luck just found the card I will look it up for you

They also limit the number of children in each age group so don’t leave a booking too late otherwise there may be no more availability for the particular age group you require and to my knowledge there is no flex on this.

My goodness some people really do have too much free time on their hands. As I have said before I wonder how many on these sites elsewhere moaning and giving their two penny worth are personally impacted or ever likely to be and are just enjoying the drama and stirring up mischief for the sake of it.

You can have items delivered to The Westquay Marks and Spencer branch which is close to either Ocean and Mayflower Terminals. They have fitting rooms so after you have picked up your prepaid order, you could try the items on , anything you didn’t want can be instantly refunded.

According to P &O C C boards, it is a third party set up so nothing to do with Cunard I T it’s a process that is being brought in across all Carnival brands.

The Medical Centre may have Avomine which I like better than Stugeron, they do on Cunard anyway so should be the same. If you were ever a big fan of Sea Legs as I was, you can buy them still in America with a different name. If you are interested I will check it for you later as my Cruise stuff is sadly packed away until July currently and not to hand.

I had to request a change in the summer when I did a B2B T A . He didn’t do it with particular good grace and said he had planned to do it the next day (8 nights) . I was polite but firm that I expected them changed today which he did do. I don’t think I have ever in non grills had them changed more frequently than weekly. Anything over I don’t think is acceptable hence my request.

Refunds generally in the U K are non refundable for anything requiring a deposit so realistically I don’t think this will ever be an option.

Sorry I would have been all over that a free 2 week Canary Island cruise and a refund. What’s not to like. If you don’t really like the inside cabin it was free. The only possible thing I thing would be perhaps they no longer honour the refund as you chose not to go ? But I really have no idea. I am sure others will have an opinion of more use.

There is no extra entertainment added for the afternoon. Like previous poster I did a 7 day T A back to back and couldn’t believe where the time went. Pushpit in his review of a recent T A uploaded all the daily programmes. So we’ll worth looking at. Apart from the speakers the format doesn’t change.

Are you directly involved and impacted or just expressing an arm chair opinion. I am more inclined to listen to the folk commenting on here that have personal involvement of how the airline industry works. I have no knowledge so would not deign to offer an opinion. What I can understand is that these cruises were planned pre-pandemic, P& O are not responsible for the lack of charter planes available. Planes and crew can’t be magicked up out of nowhere. However brilliant your planning team is if there ain’t no planes and crew there ain’t no planes and crew. As they say one swallow doesn’t make a summer, but too many seem to be revelling on one incident and running with it.

Exactly and given many lines don’t allow you to bring alcohol onboard full stop, let’s hope a few don’t end up spoiling if for the many who just enjoy a balcony / cabin drink. I would be annoyed if this was taken away because of the loss of bar revenue because of abuse.

Trouble is if everyone turned up early to have lunch onboard at lunch time which I am sure the vast majority would prefer to do, it would be chaos and those with priority boarding may struggle. Staggered boarding times eases congestion and arriving at your allocated time is a fairer way of doing it.

She is a lovely ship and experience but you must taper your expectations to reflect the most likely large difference in price you could be paying.
