Fairly recent addition to pre-cruise purchase options. FWIW Carnival has also added the Effy credits to their site, so I would say Effy and CCL are trying to increase awareness and encourage spending.

The PG burger is so yummy, as is the chocolate dessert w/coffee gelato and popcorn. Both are available only in PG and only on lunch menu. DH enjoys the crabcakes. The lunch tenderloin is also great.

Have not cruised on NCL, but look every couple months as they have a driving port but HAL does not. Size is what mostly keeps me from booking; your comparison really helps - thanks for doing it.

The individual ones, not bottles. Definitely double ziplock if flying. I had to give mine a bath as 1 had cracked during flight. I used them in the cabin and took to breakfast.

Even paid in full it absolutely can be refared if Passenger #1 is not there - fares are tied to the first passenger listed, no matter the payment status.

My experience is that pre-paying is only valid for the entire cruise. I believe you can still buy individual days onboard, but if you do the math, that number of days bought per day might cost more than pre-paying and getting 20% off. Last time I did it by the day, it was $34.99/day.

Deck 8 very forward has the Bridge. Directly above the Bridge is the fitness center, so any cabin you have 8 forward should not be impacted by it. The spa and hydrapool would be above the 8 forward cabins. Those are not loud areas so you shouldn't have noise issues. The hydrapool is not a "play" pool. Actual Lido noise would be further mid and aft.

Did 13 days B2B on Venezia in Sept. Venezia is very "smokey" mid-ship up to deck 7 is so bad we kept looking for whoever was smoking. Cabin Steward said it's always like that (he has a hard time breathing and it bothers him) and the Crew leading the Behind the Fun Tour said they're struggling w/it as the HVAC cannot keep up & wasn't designed for the volume of smoke it gets. Not only is the pool seating bad, the pool is small. As is the Theater. Just not built for this market and the conversion didn't adequately address these things. But the ship was beautiful. For us, unfortunately, pretty does not trump smokey.

I did not lose my OBC when I accepted an upgrade offer. They're only changing your cabin (for a fee) not canceling and rebooking you.

Others have said that happens if you select the "plaid" option so choose the other.

So, not Dressy Night, but interestingly it was Ball night w/Officers and Crew. So maybe he was dressed for that; although, the person w/him was not similarly attired. I did not go to the ball as I was traveling solo and didn't feel comfortable, but would love to have seen it. Why would a ball be scheduled on Casual Night? The ball is billed as "a gala dance."

Priority had 1 line, so no matter the time on your boarding pass you could get in that line. Then just be prepared to show your status to each worker as they only looked at the time. It was not like that Dec 2022 and I hope they fix it.
