  1. Hey @mafig as others have said, you're just looking for your boarding pass too early. On the website, you'll be able to access it about 30 days out, but it won't be the "official" one. The "official" boarding pass will have a barcode in lower left corner. Your boarding group could still change even after the official boarding pass is available, so you might take another peek at it a day or 2 before departure. On the Navigator App your boarding group will automatically update if a change is made. That is what you need to board - no need to print the official one with barcode from the website, but you can so as to have a backup if you'd like. The only time you will automatically receive an email w/boarding time is if it gets changed. You can also see boarding passes for everyone on same booking in the Navigator so no need for each traveler to have it up on their phones. There will be a circle for each passenger right above the barcode. Just swipe to get to the other boarding pass.
  2. You are able to order additional items (judgement free) so if something looks appealing, just ask your server to bring you one. You can ask for a smaller portion if you think a full portion would be too much. Same if the "creative interpretation" of a dish doesn't align with your expectations - simply ask for something else.
  3. I'm going to see if mine are back. I'm thinking the glitch that caused this is tied to the Cheers pricing glitch.
  4. Alaska is a great cruise, especially for kids and nature lovers. There is an excursion in Ketchikan (usually the wettest port) that is a lot of fun if your kids like a little adventure. It's an ATV trip on abandoned logging trails with a short walk to a waterfall at the turnaround point. You drive the ATV caravan style, so you have a guide but you are driving. Since this is more fun the muddier the trails, if it's raining 🌧 the day you're there, no problem! They provide mud gear and helmets, you just bring gloves. There's a very sweet dog that hangs out at base camp and rides with one of the drivers, so you may have him on your trip. We do this every year and it has not disappointed. Your kids can't drive, but they'll have great views. There are a few 4 person ATVs so y'all can stay together or you can get 2 2-person ATVs - just let them know when you get to the site which you prefer. If your itinerary includes Sitka, I highly recommend the Fortress of the Bears. Juneau has a tram (Mt Roberts Tramway) to the top of the mountain that is worth the ride. The views are awesome, there are trails up top you can hike, and your ticket is unlimited rides, so you can go before and after other excursions. As for cabin location, we prefer true aft with wake views as we've seen incredible wildlife sightings from our deck. If you find room for a stow away, I'm available!! Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!
  5. Yes. And we're all Losers 🥵😭🤭
  6. Thank you. So clearly not able to use while playing "the waiting game." 😪😭🤔
  7. I read that, too. Also said vessels are required to reduce their weight by 40% to pass through. So there's yet another impact to the supply chain. And, of course, cruise ships. My ability to leisurely enjoy watching the amazing workings of the Canal locks system, should not be a priority on par with shipping cargo deliveries, IMO. Disappointing to wait a year or two? Sure, but supplies need to get to their destinations.
  8. Yes, then if you don't use it, at the end of the cruise, it will be refunded to the credit card you registered for the cruise (which may or may not be the same CC that was originally used to purchase the excursion- only you will know that). So, ultimately it gets refunded back to credit card. Or you can go to Guest Services and have it paid to you in cash rather than going to a CC.
  9. What ship & cabin numbers? Thanks!
  10. How and where do you get the wristband for Terrazzo area? Do you get it in time on embarkation day to go there while waiting for cabin to be ready?
  11. You can also make use of free internet on port days. Clean out what trash you're able - better than coming home to all of it.
  12. Correct as @LAFFNVEGAS said- transfers are not included with HAL Flight Ease. They are included when you get pre or post cruise hotel through HAL.
  13. Happy Anniversary @CrabbyPatti Congratulations on the milestone number.
  14. Seems fitting that being such an animal supporter, Bob would leave this earth on Nat'l Dog Day.
  15. I noticed there were a lot of excursions missing from B2B Venezia in Sept (just a few weeks away!!) and thought it odd, then moved on to purchase bogus Cheers for both weeks. Then didn't think about it again until I read your post. Something's a miss...
  16. Yep!! Even First Grade Math covers that one, 😆 🤣
  17. Unfortunate as it is nice up there. But I've never gotten table service in the Crow's Nest during the day except for Glacier Bay day. If I want a drink, I order it at the bar - order on front side, pick up on back side; same for coffee. Maybe if you let them know when you walk in that you'd like to order and ask if they'd stop by your table. Granted, if they tell you they have table service, you shouldn't have to do that, but if it gets you a drink and affords you an opportunity to enjoy the views...
  18. CONGRATULATIONS!! I hope your endeavor goes well. As a non-smoker married to a lifetime smoker, I'm rooting for you.
  19. Haven't been able to pin down that number, but did find something that said cargo companies that are rerouting through Suez Canal are adding approx 14 days to their trips. And ships that are able to pass through PC have to reduce total weight by 40%. That's quite a lot and results in another ship to pick up the offload, so there's a domino effect...
  20. No, you can book direct w/HAL, a PCC or TA, but you do have to have joined AARP before you book.
  21. Every day is a good day for ice cream 🍨 🍦 Glad your cruise is going well.
  22. Do you think they'll cancel if only 1 person bought?
  23. And have to do it without your fruit juice and crick pot, so no snacking in the hall (well, not self serve ones) while you wait...
