  1. Steward will take suitcases upstairs. No need to carry them yourself.
  2. Their signature shows they are on Adventure. They have one of the new JS that are all the way forward on deck 11, that is why she is saying bow.
  3. Oasis does have an accessible loft with an elevator in the cabin.
  4. Yes, I am aware of that. I was just trying to help them understand the cabin configuration as the quads aren't always available for two.
  5. Make sure all four of you are on the same bus, not just at the same hotel. We did a cruisetour in 2018 and there were two couples that were traveling together but were on separate buses. The two buses ended up in the same place at the end of each day but we were not on the same schedules, close, but about an hour different. At more than one stop, the two couples met for lunch and caused one bus to have to wait for the late couple because they always chose the later schedule. Led to some upset people as we sat on a bus and waited. We were pulling away from one stop, leaving the couple behind to go with the other bus, when they appeared. All they had to do from the beginning was get one couple to change from one bus and tour guide to the other, but they didn't. Just make sure you confirm that you are on the same bus when you meet your tour guide. 🙂
  6. They were able to book three in a cabin for two?
  7. So sofabed is by the balcony, so no need to move cabins. Are they planning on using the sofabed for the child or requesting a pack and play? The sofabed has a trundle that pulls out that can be left at the lower level, so no need to worry about child falling out.
  8. If they are in connecting balconies on Ovation, the right cabin of the pair is the cabin that sleeps more than two and will have the sofabed by the balcony.
  9. That doesn't look good even to my untrained eye. Sorry he needs to have surgery. Sending prayers for a quick recovery.
  10. No, they do not get reciprocal benefits. You will get your five free drinks per day, that you can share if you want.
  11. We were also at that Target in May and a cashier came and worked that counter when the self check out line got really long.
  12. We make reservations with the concierge for the week when we get their welcome email the week before the sailing.
  13. I am not a fan of hers either. I am not sure if she just decided she didn't want to be on the show anymore or if she is still recovering. She had a pretty bad scooter accident.
  14. It looks like Mzi and maybe Courtney are back. Malia is definitely not back according to posts online which she has confirmed.
  15. We tip at the end of the week. We will give one envelope to the manager for all the waiters if we do not have an assigned waiter. On Anthem, we have had an assigned waiter that takes care of us all week. In that case, we tip that waiter directly. On our recent Quantum sailing, we had all the waiters at one point or another, so was best just to leave a group tip.
  16. Just make sure you look into the public bus system before you decide to go to another beach as since covid, the buses were very limited, if they were running at all. Public bus does not go down to the parking lot at Horseshoe Bay Beach, so you have to walk down the big hill to the beach and then back up to catch the bus, if it is running. In recent years, they have installed a new sidewalk and staircase down the hill, but it is not good for anyone with mobility issues.
  17. There are van/shuttles for $7pp that run from all day long. They are also waiting in the parking lot at the beach to take you back to the ships. We have used them many times.
  18. Wow, I never would have thought a pill cutter would be an issue. I just checked the TSA site to see if that is an issue here and they are allowed in both carry ons and checked baggage. https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/whatcanibring/items/pill-cutter Hope she finds one easily in London. 🙂
  19. I was on the May 16th sailing of Quantum and we had right around 4,000 passengers. As far as crew, hard to say if they were short staffed due to Covid, staffing, or both.
  20. It has been there on some sailings and not on others. Some have reported that they were able to order it but never got the alcohol in their cabins, only the soda.
  21. I was allowed to stay in our suite when I tested positive and my DH was moved to another cabin because he was negative. It was only for one night though, as the cruise was almost over. Not sure what would have happened had I tested positive earlier in the cruise. I was told the cabin was already considered a "sick cabin" and I really think they were just trying to save have to sanitize another cabin.
  22. The app is a work in progress. One important thing is to make sure you hit update so any changes or additions get added into the compass. As far as reservations for the comedy club, we were never able to make for than one reservation for that during the week. We don't use it to block out activities as you tried because it will cause issues with conflicts as you experienced. We use it to plan day to day as opposed to for the whole week as you tried.
  23. Just catching up on things. Sorry your husband had to go to the ER, glad to hear he has been discharged. I hope his echo looks good today and the Cardiologist doesn't find anything concerning next week. 🙂
