  1. When we booked a cabana a few years ago, I think the limit was six people. There was a group who tired to bring more, told no. Then tried to rotate folks in and out, told no, then left. Price was $220.00. It was wonderful. One piece of advice I can give is head for the front or rear elevators (depending on the location of the Sanctuary) after boarding. Take those elevators up to the right deck. If directed to the central elevators go up a floor and over. I know some folks will book an afternoon on a port day and visit after their trip ashore.
  2. There is a second lagoon near town in Reykjavik, the Sky Lagoon. We are with Iceland Everywhere with a drop off at the Sky Lagoon at the end.
  3. U bet. Ok, we were in B735 (starboard side, deck 11) on the Enchanted in September. The video looks just like our cabin except the balcony was smaller. When we looked down the balconies we saw were huge. Like I said we are in D726 on the Royal soon and will report back. Enjoy
  4. I don’t know if Kaiser has a contract for Paxlovid, but the organization does use it power to negotiate contracts with drug companies. It’s one of the main reasons behind its success.
  5. Kaiser will reimburse the charges. Easy to do in the app. We had several hundred reimbursed from CoVID treatment in London, plus all the CoVID testing.
  6. Here is a link to a video for d726 on Sky Princess, sister ship. We are in D726 on the Royal soon. Can answer questions. These cabins are fabulous. E728 looks to be a bit larger from the deck plans.
  7. Yes, in our experience that is correct. Cost is per person. It usually does include the transfers, so you would need to cost that out. Land tour companies price their pre and post hotel nights using the same methods. Civitavecchia is over an hour from Rome.
  8. You need to check the terms and conditions of your credit card insurance and also consult an insurance expert. Sometimes conditions apply. For example many do not cover pre existing conditions. Also for those that do, typically you must buy the policy with a short period of time from your first deposit for the trip. Usually under 20 days. Perhaps post on the insurance forum.
  9. Is this an excursion that can only take a certain number of people, such as a helicopter or boat trip?
  10. Welcome to cruise critic. Check here on the roll call for your cruise.
  11. I think we posted about the same time, regardless, can’t be too careful about information like this. @mattR Good luck. I think Japan may have some arrival requirements as well. There are requirements for US citizens, not sure about Canadians.
  12. I just read the T&C yesterday. Japan is listed as an exception.
  13. I know, right? Final payment is not due until April, either. I have placed a cruise after the final payment due date and that was good for 1 day. So I sent an email.
  14. I re-fared this morning. I was going to place on hold, but the system wanted another $200.00. Sent an email to my CVP and it’s done.
  15. Yes, you get an email with the gift card number and a pin; go to the website and enter the data. Keep a copy of the GC. Any refunds will go back to the cards. If you work with a travel agent they can enter the information. Many cruisers on CC do it. We’ve saved quite a bit….well 10%. Twenty five cards is a lot!
  16. Large Cruise ships no longer dock at Venice, but about 100 miles away at Trieste. Italy has banned ships over 25,000 tons.
  17. Not sure if @Rick&Jeannieis talking about an accelerated points system when purchased though the airline using a co branded credit card and and having a higher lever of loyalty? Then yes, one or both of the things can lead to significant mileage awards. We use miles as well. We are always looking to earn more. LOL. We look at EZ air, though. I like control of my own air. We frequently fly in advance of a cruise, sometimes more days than the allotted window and to a different city. For this summer’s trip we had EZ Air flights, but a few weeks ago, decided to book our own. The price was really good. And the mileage award was outstanding.
  18. Ah! Forgot about that name change. Ty
  19. It’s a section of a main dinning room reserved for those in suites or have booked a club class mini suite. No waiting, no reservations needed. Here is the list of suite benefits. Breakfast is in Sabatini’s. https://www.princess.com/downloads/pdf/ships/PrincessSuite_eFlyer.pdf
  20. I’ve been watching these cruises and have similar questions, the Royal cruise is now past final payment, but the Ruby one is not. I don’t think that is all of it though.
  21. @bagney Yes, S108 is the cabin door to the right of the room entered in the video. The set up is the same on the port side, with the window suite door S107, to the left of the forward facing ocean view cabin. The YouTuber has misnamed the cabin. S107 and S108 are each about 700 square feet, very large.
  22. We sailed in S107 on the Enchanted in September. The sofa bed pulls outs and is a nice size for one adult or two children. When pulled out, it almost reaches the window bench. It is a wonderful suite, very large. Just checked, I don’t have a pic of the sofa bed pulled out. But your DS should be comfortable.
