It has not had the revolution updates. Since it's not in service now I doubt if anyone can give you an answer for sure if they have done anything to the passenger spaces. If you are lucky they will do what they did to Constellation. They updated Rendezvous lounge, Oceanview and Michaels Club as well as spruced up the suites. That ship was in very good shape in the public areas.

When you use the web browser and go to the emed.com site to take the test it will direct you to create a navica account. You actually take the test using the navica application in the web browser, it's just that emed takes you there transparently. But no you don't need the phone app.

If they have a documented positive PCR test they will be able to board with a Certificate of Recovery 11 days after the positive test.

Yes generally all they might offer is to cover change fees up to a small limit. -
Putting down a deposit for 2024 cruise. Bad idea?
wrk2cruise replied to latebuyer's topic in Celebrity Cruises
In the US and I suspect all of North America you do have to pay a separate deposit for each cruise of a B2B..... -
What are the advantages to book a future cruise while onboard
wrk2cruise replied to Casanova02's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I have never seen the benefit of the "Book Later" offer as you must select a sailing within 90 days or lose the OBC benefit. I have always done the "place holder" strategy which allows me to reserve something 18-24 months in the future and select a different sailing way out in the future retaining all benefits. Recently I believe I read that the Book Later offer allowed you to change ALL names so it would be a way to allow you to book for others while onboard but again the sailing would need to be selected within 90 days. -
I'm not sure this is correct anymore. I think it may have changed some time shortly before the pandemic. I recently repriced an AI booking to the new no perks rate and have select dining. Of course the gratuities will be on my onboard account.

There are no self service laundry facilities on any Celebrity ship. As far as I have heard here you can take 2 12 packs onboard as part of your carry on.
-
By the way this is not part of Cruise with Confidence policy. That policy only covers your ability to cancel for any reason up to 48 hrs prior to sailing and get a FCC.

Just been turned down for OBC due to price decrease
wrk2cruise replied to Homestyle's topic in Celebrity Cruises
OP If you booked prior to May 31 then your sailing should be eligible for Cruise with Confidence and you certainly should be eligible for the price drop. Did you specifically request the OBC using CwC? Since this program is not offered on new bookings now I wonder if the person you were dealing with even knew about the benefits your reservation was booked with. Maybe you need to educate them with this link https://www.celebritycruises.com/cruise-with-confidence -
Taking an eMed Covid test before flying home
wrk2cruise replied to workstocruise's topic in Celebrity Cruises
This site was mentioned on a thread a few days ago. I have no experience with them but like Jim I bookmarked it as a backup. https://onpoint-testing.com/product/certified-teleservice-covid-testing/ -
And I will take FCC you are unable to use off your hands as well.

OBC can be transferred to another passenger or can be used for additional tips.
-
If you received the OBC from Celebrity due to a price drop it will be non-refundable. The only OBC which is refundable if unused is usually OBC that was purchased by your TA or if you purchase in advance of the sailing. While OBC can be used for most things onboard, deposits for a future cruise is not one of them.

Best advise to to contact a travel insurance broker who you can discuss your specific needs and they can match you with the best policy for you. Every one of these policies is different and may or may not meet your needs. There are several always recommended here. insuremytrip.com tripinsurancestore.com squaremouth.com

Ok. Yes they must have changed it when they started accepting Certificate of Recovery. -
Urgent medical situation 1 week prior to sailing
wrk2cruise replied to the_dylaness's topic in Celebrity Cruises
When was the positive covid test? If it was within 14 days of the sailing date I would check with Celebrity as all in "your traveling party" would be eligible for a refund or FCC and I believe this covers Celebrity air as well. It does look like the definition of "traveling party" could be an issue as I assume the other adult doesn't live with you. For purposes of this Policy, your “Traveling Party” means your family members living with you in the same household and traveling companions assigned to your stateroom on the cruise. https://www.celebritycruises.com/content/dam/celebrity/pdf/cel-covid-19-cancellations-and-refunds-policy.pdf I don't believe that CwC will cover you Celebrity air, however if they are refundable airline tickets you would be out only the $200 pp Celebrity Air fees. I'm not sure if travel insurance would cover that given CwC is a voluntary program. -
Classic non alcohol package for kids
wrk2cruise replied to justhavingfun's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I've had 2 different waters in cans and 1 was tinny while the other wasn't bad. Also is much worse if you open and let sit before finishing. -
Yes MDR menu is available for all staterooms during dining hours delivered all at once via room service.
-
I did it online using the new form which allows you to submit multiple sailings at once. This was about 3 weeks ago. It was applied about a day later and I got an email that it was applied.
-
You can combine it with AI and other normal promotions including B2B discounts.
-
I was told by a CC Concierge that the 5-7 happy hour lounge in the Sky Lounge is a thing of the past and has been permanently discontinued. Whether or not you valued this event I think you are seeing most of the loyalty "perks" which were suspended under the guise of Covid have been quietly discontinued permanently.
-
The b2b discount is per stateroom, not per person. They will usually invite you to the concierge lunch in the MDR on embarkation day and occasionally offer a bag of laundry.
