  1. That flyer is out of date. There was an email last week with a new benefits chart. One change was Amethyst no longer gets an annual cruise benefit. I'd look at the blue chip web site.
  2. I'll support the OP that when we boarded Infinity in March of 2023 Valparaiso boarding was the worst of my 60+ Celebrity cruise by far. Most of the port staff were trying hard and were polite. The line to checkin probably had 200-300 people in it. Fortunately we can checkin in the Retreat area which was a roped off area in the corner of the warehouse but was still made to feel uncomfortable by the checkin staff.
  3. Connie goes to dry dock in April of 2024. It's only 2 1/2 weeks long so it will probably only be mechanical inspections/maintenance and maybe some soft goods. I think the full Revolution program is permanently on hold fleet wide.
  4. Actually no, once a reservation is set to NRD it can't be changed to refundable. I just changed a sail date recently and they didn't collect the $100 pp at the time of change. They just added a line item to each passenger on the new invoice. If you have a refundable reservation you can swap to a NRD fare at any time including when changing ship/sail date but not the reverse.
  5. The 25% after May 28, 2023 doesn't seem right unless that is maybe less than $900? I'm assuming your booking date was May 27 or 28? The 25% would be the total cruise fare minus Taxes/Fees as they get refunded. This is one reason I always have reservations which I book onboard so I only have $200 deposit at risk. If I'm not sure if I will take the particular sailing I make it a refundable fare so I can move it to another date without charge. At that time I can change it to NRD if I want and still keep the $200 deposit.
  6. When they say locked out it's just that you are locked out from transferring additional funds from your seapass account until you play a min percentage of what you already took. We have heard it anywhere from 10%-50%. If you are locked out you also can't take advantage of any time they load $5 or $10 promotional play like they do some nights. We have been successful in asking an attendant and they will unlock for the promo play. If you are going to take OBC this way I would suggest you take the entire amount at one time so if you do get locked out it won't matter.
  7. Then you get charged $129 pp plus 20% gratuity for the private diving platform and rescue boat ride.😀
  8. Maybe they did on that first sailing in June. On July 3rd sailing they were back to walk up. I agree that filling the Retreat to capacity while professing social distancing was a brain dead thing to do at that time.
  9. It's actually midnight in the timezone of the port of embarkation. While Retreat guests and Zenith Captains Club members have to select a time during the checkin process they are invited to arrive at any time during the boarding process.
  10. They do still sell buckets. On Summit in Oct the table behind us in the MDR was buying them in the dining room, a bit tacky in my opinion especially when the bar server built a pyramid with the empties instead of providing us any service at all. Was startled when the pyramid came crashing down.
  11. On Infinity it's still going to be a shower curtain. I've stayed in these rooms and they are just like any other concierge cabin but are just a touch wider (easier to walk by the end of the bed) and the balcony is way deeper.
  12. They only have a shower. What makes you think they have a tub/shower? I don't see any indication on the plan for tub even for the suites that do have tub/shower. The square indicates a sofa.
  13. While I generally agree the notary letter is a good idea I do believe the who is sleeping in which cabin is a non issue here. Celebrity would all the 2 adults to be booked in 1 cabin with the 2 minors in the other since they are connecting. The issue about parental permission should be mute since the parent is boarding with the minors. Let's remember here 1 of the adults is the parent of the minor.
  14. Not really. Anything included in the premium beverage package is complementary in the Retreat Lounge for everyone package or not. All other areas of the ship your drink package dictates what's included.
  15. @1Virgo I believe is talking about the Book Later form where you have 6 months to decide on the actual sailing you want to take. I much prefer to use the Book Now. If I'm not sure what I want to do I'll book anything way out in the future with a refundable deposit. I can then change it later (way after 6 months) and still retain the bonus OBC or cancel without penalty. No mater which you choose the rate and perks are determined when you select the ship/sail date (including changes) and will be at the prevailing rates/promo on that date. The only OBC that carries forward is the onboard booking bonus which is adjusted to the new sailing category and duration.
  16. Yes you have 30 days to transfer to a TA. Actually they will automatically transfer it to the TA you used to book your current sailing and have to tell them if you don't want it to go there. You maintain the OBC outlined in the chart above and it can be combined with anything your TA offers and keep the reduced deposit (for non-suite bookings) If your TA has group space at a better price then you can be put into the group and usually retain the OBC (there are some group types that don't qualify).
  17. The benefits for booking onboard are included in the documents emailed to everyone. As @Arizona Wildcat says it hasn't changed in years. You get the onboard booking benefits combined with whatever Celebrity promo is going on that you would get booking anywhere.
  18. Of course the link they provide for more information on Blue Chip club goes to their main website where none of this information has been updated. Still shows the old benefits chart.
  19. Generally the issue happens after you depart the ship and they inventory and restock the mini bar during the turnover. Unless you are diligent you'll never notice. There was a time about 15 years ago where it was pretty common. I personally had it where I was charged ~$150 on 4 different sailings. When called they responded it was the entire contents of the minibar. They instantly reversed the charge without question. We even had it happen when we asked to keep the minibar locked for the entire trip. Lately it just seems like random human error.
  20. It's just an incorrect email from Cruise Planner trying to get you to spend your OBC. No chance you would get on the ship.
  21. I use CruisePlum They are ok to mention here as they don't sell travel. I keep a tab open with all my future sailings and just hit refresh daily.
  22. You mentioned no jets in the solarium hot tubs. We have been on Summit several times since the restart. No jets in any of the public hot tubs onboard. First sailing in Nov of 2021 said they were broken (but all of them??). I haven't inquired since. It seems improbable that they are all non-functional but would have no idea why they would have them intentionally disabled.
  23. The official policy in the lounge is that the premium drinks are complementary, at least I've heard at least one concierge say this. Of course we have all seen/heard of higher end drinks being obtained by the Retreat bartender. I was on one sailing several years ago where a friend asked for Blue Moon beer which was available in the Sky Lounge. The beverage manager would not allow it. That was really stupid.
  24. I'm not sure you have to be up at midnight but do it first thing in the morning if you want an early boarding time. You can do it either on the website or on the App. I suggest using the app at least to select a boarding time. With the app you can go right to that and select a boarding time then return at your leisure to do the rest. On the web you have to provide passport info etc and the checkin time selection is at the very end and you can't skip sections.
