  1. Agree. If I went to my regular Doctor w/o Insurance cost $249, for same reason on Ship usually $145. But in April on Jewel Daughter had a Sinus Infection, for her Meds/Antibiotics, 24hr Quarantine plus 2Neg CV Tests, no Charges and no need use any Insurance
  2. Been Lucky myself finding cheap Flights on Discount Airlines for regular Travel and even on large Airlines for my Cruises. Yes some Flights earlier in day more expensive but getting off Cruises I usually don't Fly home until after 1pm anyway
  3. Yes, I received 3 these emails in last couple weeks, available Day after Final/89 Days out
  4. Agree, I've only seen higher number Dressed up Formal Nites on Repo, Holiday, or longer Sailings. Been about 4+ yrs when Table was near Main Dining Entrance watched multiple Passengers turned away for wearing Tank Top, short-shorts, and this on a Formal Nite. About 6 years since a Sign outside MD saying no Shorts(Formal Nite), and that was only on that 13nite/Repo leg of a B4B. Turned away now, not likely
  5. Refunds, unlike some I've been Lucky getting about 95% mine in under 10days for Cruise canceled Cruises. A Cruise I Canceled last week Thursday, 0320am today money was back in my acct
  6. On my Annual Ft Lauderdale Cruises, Pre-CV would just show up at 10:25, Doors open in 5 min, onboard by 1045-55. Miss those Days.
  7. Yup, dealing with similar. 3 Month Meds/Visits, Annual State Mandated Counseling and Labs. 15yrs ago was 6 month of Meds, would have Fly back to State see Doctor twice a yr min. Now, 4 times a year. At least Family is still able PU Meds while out of Town or gone on longer Cruises
  8. Luck. Watched multiple Passengers stopped at Port Miami, Ft Lauderdale and Boston on my last Cruises. At first two of these watched as 2 different passengers walked their Bag filled with Water back to there Car. This just a couple Months ago where they Counted to 12
  9. Agree. 15-20yrs ago getting these Meds in extras or advance, possible. Now, not likely. Was Members on here that had these Shipped to them on World Cruises yrs ago, but that was then.
  10. Carried on 12ct 16.9oz MT Dew for Decades. One the only things liked on NCL Ships was their Vending Machines with these same Bottles to purchase
  11. 12yrs old. Yup she's my little Buddy. Did our first Cruise Together over Easter, next one with me is Panama Canal in Oct 2023
  12. Have one Cruise started at the 475 Day Mark. We're doing a 16nite and I send my Grand Daughter Picture of Count every 25 Days. Hotel, at times Booked 1yr plus when able
  13. Agree, check both. Not Bermuda but 30-35yrs ago would see Dozen's of Caribbean Passengers Carry on their Clubs to Cabin. Not saying they don't as sure some do but I personally haven't seen that myself since 90's.
  14. Over last 30 yrs seen that multiple times and years ago there was a Reg B2B Discount. Now, not likely. Post 9/11 threw Spring 2002 many Cruises were almost Free and wish could have stayed on lot longer then I did. Besides 2001-2002 the prices I paid this last yr were about lowest Royal ever offered for my usual Sailings/Cabins
  15. Depends on the Ship/Class. Did 7 Thanksgivings Pre-CV 2010-2019 on Brilliance or Serenade. Doing usually longer Cruises they had about 1800-2050 is sticking in my head, this when they hold 2100 double and 2500 in all Berths. These Longer sailings had 50-75 Kids at most.
  16. Good idea, reason for that is longer then 2-3wks Request can be lost or changed by one made closer to Sailing. Did several Enchantment Cruises and was first one took my 3 Kids on in 1998. Love this and Radiance Classes. Enjoy!
  17. Yup, been Carrying Dt Dew onto Royal Ships for about 30yrs myself. When did NCL Cruises one thing liked was they had Vending Machines onboard with these same 16.9oz bottles of Pepsi product's...
  18. Only seen Ceiling on other Jewel Decks, should be the same. Anyone seen different?
  19. Thanks, forgot this is Possible. Have a Check in a different time Zone next month
  20. Yes, per Cabin you can Carry On a 12 pack Max of 17oz ea, Cans or Bottles, Water or Pop. I also carry on Bottles of 16.9oz Mt Dew. Beats the 12-12oz cans for size.
  21. Think was 1998 for me, also first time brought all my 3 Kids. Back then Diamonds were first in group off/on Ship and though no Diamond Lounge we had access to Concierge Lounge. Some change is real good, Cruising is lot cheaper now and with SOLO 340+ plus multiple Military Discounts Royal offers. On Panama Canal 16n next yr, Solo in a Balcony/Aft is 35% cheaper then my first 80's 7n Caribbean Cruise for 2 in an OV Cabin
  22. I first made Diamond, on the then New-ish Enchantment, there wasn't a thing called the Diamond Lounge. Back then at most we had 6-10 Diamonds on Largest Ships doing popular Cruises. Right before CV on my Cruises the Diamond Lounge had to expand using 3 other Ship Lounges during Happy Hour
  23. Funny you should say that. First made Diamond Decades ago so thats not an issue, but during Conversion I'm one the Few that lost out on Points. This after Royal also had no History of my First Cruises from 80's. I saved all my Cruise Paperwork, sent them Copies and got Missing Cruises Straight, but am still shorted Points on Conversion. Oh Well, unless a new Top Tier Level is Created and I'm short a few Points doesn't matter
