  8. what fun! on our Rt Hawaii cruise ( 5 days at sea 1 way?) we had hula dance lessons. At the end of the cruise, our class performed in the theater for other guests, friends and family..we all bought Hawaii style dresses at the ports.. It was a fun thing to do..along with various craft activities. Had a great Hawaii Ambassador on the ship..Paki Allen.

  16. Thanks.. We bring onboard a 4 pack of Fiji and supplement those with purchases at ports. Onboard we prefer to buy water in glass. I drink ciub soda with lime, but wondered abt the ice,. Appreciate the info.
  17. We did ok with a taxi but would use car service... Watch your bags at ALL times on check in lines..last opportunity for the thieves to work.. if they get your papers you are not going anywhere..we witnessed this happen Airport access was closed but no one was caught..the victim was devastated!,, Beautiful City with the Nickname..CITY OF THIEVES
  18. Evian is the way to go What do you think of the ice cubes in drinks?
  19. Fresh/ roasted veggies at the lunch buffet can be put together for a nice plate. Self made salads and salads at dinner are good if they are not limp or wilted. Plated veggies are easily missed.examples....2 stalks of asparagus (poorly cooked) or 2 or 3 carrot pieces..often with an odd taste . We try to order double veggies...and 1/2 carbs...but if the taste is poor why bother? Not Xs strong suit.
  20. This was our favorite bird in Hawaii What is a Nene bird? The nene ( Branta sandvicensis ), also known as the nēnē or the Hawaiian goose, is a species of bird endemic to the Hawaiian Islands. The nene is exclusively found in the wild on the islands of Oahu, Maui, Kauaʻi, Molokai, and Hawaiʻi. In 1957, it was designated as the official state bird of the state of Hawaiʻi. Stick phito..too lazy to look through mine!
