I figured out I had to do the forgotten password to change it and log in. I tried to do a reservation but in the category it ASSIGNED me a cabin. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to change it. I hate the frames within a frame scrolling small sections. Must be a work in progress.

Regardless of the cabin cat, I always ask the attendant or butler to remove any non complimentary items.

Another thing for your consideration when purchasing the package once on board is to ask whether there are any local taxes that may need to be collected until reaching international waters. The VAT tax in Spain gets tricky and sometimes at FL ports. Some bartenders will hold putting the purchase on your account until after sailing to help you with taxes. It couldn't hurt to ask.

I concur if those were my three, that is the order I would place them.

Our primary go to line used to be Celebrity during Chandris and the five years following where Celebrity was required to meet certain standards. However since LLP transferred from RCL to cut corners, they've become an also ran. We just completed three Regent cruises which we purchased during the pandemic at a great price. They hadn't raised prices yet but Celebrity rates were soaring to eat up all that FCC. So we got the suites at lower PP/PN rates for the same square footage but it included everything: air, transfers, hotel room, premium liquors in the suite and throughout plus specialty restaurants, WiFi, gratuities, unlimited daily laundry and more. Before that, our sailings also included Azamara, Oceania and HAL. Due to Celebrity's death by a thousand cuts, Azamara is a primary consideration. We're also beginning to reconsider Oceania. Regent prices soared once people started booking their small vessels so unless there's a good value, we probably will hold off on them. But we prefer the smaller ships. Itinerary is now a primary consideration unless we just want a mindless Caribbean cruise. For Europe, probably O or AZ will be primary. Value is the second consideration. It's not about being the cheapest but what's included that counts. If Celebrity becomes a value, they'll be considered.

OMG, I still have one of those T shirts. Watch out for Moose Droppings. If you haven't seen it, there's a bunch of moose lined up on bar stools drinking except for one that fell to the floor. ROFL Cool as a Moose. Are they still doing PUP? I'm free! Once I hit plus, no need to try for a gazillion points to reach Zenith. Oh what a relief it is.

If I've observed chair hogs using only a towel strewn on the chair, I have been known to grab a few towels on my way out...then put them in the hamper. I just consider them forgotten by the non occupant when they left. lol

We were on Splendor in January and Mariner last September. Both had Blue but I chose the Black in my suite and lounges.

Oh my gawd! They’re so expensive. In February, I got four 200ml bottles of blue for $120. Their 750ml was $135. Another store had a 750ml bottle for $150. That store, pre-pandemic, was $99 and free engraving. Pandemic ruined that. I found St Maarten to be the best prices in the Caribbean. I call my cruises there my liquor run. I bring back 6 ltrs per person declared with no duty.

I used to get those personally engraved bottles in St. Maarten but recently, that store stopped the practice. Where did you buy that if you don't mind my asking?

Make sure you use a credit card with no international fees. My debit card, which I only use for ATMs when I travel, reimburses me for all ATM fees anywhere. That is the best exchange rate if you're using a very large financial institution since they get the best conversion rates. I open a secondary account with limited funds for the debit card and consolidate it back into my regular account once I'm home.

Our last Splendor sea day heading into Miami. Prime 7 and Chartreuse are open for lunch with different menus from each other however they have the same lunch menus per respective restaurants from previous lunches. Compass Rose is closed per previously indicated on this sea day.

Don't forget to watch the back page of Passages. You'll be able to eat lunch whenever you wish in Prime 7 or Chartreuse as offered without reservations. Some days its offered in one, the other or both restaurants. The Sunday Brunch is not to be missed either! Ours was fantastic in Compass Rose this past Sunday.

Flossie and other contributors did an excellent job preparing us to have an excellent cruise. we met so many nice people at the fairmont before getting our transfer today to your disembarked ship. my DW had left her hat in the gathering waiting area but didn’t realize it until we were on the bus enroute to the port. I called the hotel and was transferred to their concierge. He got our information about the Stetson straw hat. Then called me back shortly, even thou I hadn’t given him my phone number. He told me another passenger had picked it up was on a following bus. They said they would drop it at the ship’s list and found. we quickly retrieved her hat. They were so Kind and considerate that I wish I could find out who they are. We ran into someone who rode the bus with them but didn’t know their name. the crew on this ship, even though we haven’t sailed yet are incredible! I went into the restaurant reservation office and the gal welcomed me warmly by name. She was the hostess we saw every night at compass rose on the navigator last May that took such great care of us. We got an extra pacific rim reservation already. I now understand how it feels to make contact with crew you’ve sailed with before. I never expected it on other cruise lines. Our Nicaragua pot turned into a sea day but I expected that from this thread. this is already starting to be the best Regent cruise. Thankx for setting it up with such positive information! fair winds and calm seas.

The short answer is yes I did write it up mid cruise. No response to an Elite+. They don't address people who have diabetes with items in the buffet except for eating a salad. They don't understand the difference between no sugar added and sugar free. I also wrote a positive comment on the Apex buffet earlier this year with no response. As a side note, in January '21 I booked three Regent cruises at less pp/PN for an identical SF suite than Celebrity since XXX jacked up prices when people were trying to eat up their FCC. Plus Regent included airfare, excursions at all port, all specialty restaurants, gratuities, Premium liquors set up in suite. We had Fairmont hotel pre-cruise with luggage plus passengers transferred to ship, and more. So in our case the Regent value far exceeded Celebrity. The food was incredible. The everyday menu included crab legs, lobster, USDA Prime filet, shrimp and scallops. The other menu items were incredible as well. Unfortunately the Regent prices have now skyrocketed because their largest ships only have about 750 passengers at full capacity. But we will be enjoying our Panama Canal cruise. Flying out tomorrow. I cruised four times in 2022. Twice on Celebrity and twice on Regent. I have one upcoming Azamara cruise on the books and will be looking towards Oceania to fill in gaps. Celebrity is still a mass market line regardless of what they try to claim even though our February Apex cruise was in an S1 aft suite.

I did a seven night on Reflection last month and was very much less than impressed with the oceanview cafe offerings. The cuts of meat were inferior to the rest of the ship. EVERYTHING was overcooked. Way too many pots of "food" swimming in sauces and gravy. Everything was loaded with sugars.
