  1. All suites have the same access. As noted above it's limited to self serve like the stone heated loungers and sauna. Any service is extra such as massages, facials and at regular prices.
  2. There is no definitive answer until you board and see what they say. Last time I did this cruise they stopped running the tenders late at night .
  3. Maybe but you'll never know until you're on board and specifically ask.
  4. I sail in a suite and have breakfast in the specialty restaurant every morning. The buffet has a few things the specialty restaurant doesn't like a smoked white fish. I go up to the buffet and getva plate with the white fish and bring it to the specialty restaurant. They bring me the cream cheese and bagel to go with it. So experience dictate you can bring food into the specialty restaurant at Breakfast at least.
  5. Princess suite perks are sorely lacking. Stay in the least expensive suite for the best value but there are few perks compared to other cruise lines.
  6. I've never used the app and never had a second of frustration. I get my medallion at the pier, I prefer to spend my $10 mailing fee on other things. Show up at the pier anytime in the morning and be aware boarding starts around 11 AM. I always hand carry/wheel my own luggage, even my full sized suitcase fits through the scanner.
  7. That's not a tip it's a bribe. There should be no reservation in the main dining room, it should be as it was advertised "anytime" dining.
  8. Is it mandatory or can it be adjusted at guest services.
  9. I get the same service as anyone else so why should I pay more then other cabins. It used to be we all gave the cash to our servers and it wasn't tiered amounts. Why are you comparing working in the USA service industry to other countries where crew make a fortune compared to what they would earn at home.
  10. The steward doesn't know that, you use that as a scare tactic to intimidate people. I have reduced my gratuities on every cruise for the past 6-7 years and my service has always been exceptional. Guest services assures me they don't disseminate this information, it goes straight to corporate.
  11. Never take a cabin that is above or below a public venue. It is unpredictable how much noise and banging and loud music there will be.
  12. The Lavazza has no price on the web site. Ask on board about trading the mini bar out for the 15 coffees loaded onto your account.
  13. Zero-Alcohol Package Enjoy premium and specialty coffees and teas along with sodas, fresh juices and healthy smoothies (juice bar), hot chocolate, "zero-proof" mocktails, bottled water, San Pellegrino, Evian and Red Bull Energy Drinks througout your entire cruise with this zero-alcohol beverage package. The Zero-Alcohol Drink Package is $29.99 USD* per person, per day. Premium Lavazza coffee Start your day or end a meal with your coffee-based beverage of choice, thanks to our new partnership with Lavazza. Enjoy a made-from-scratch pastry with your coffee at breakfast from the International Café or recharge with an iced frappé at Coffee & Cones. Savor a fresh cup of coffee any time you crave it, and delight in specialty espresso drinks prepared by professional baristas. A full menu of espresso-based selections are available on board and can be customized to suit your taste.
  14. Did you realize you can still turn in the mini bar for 2 coffee drink packages. They are loaded onto your account instead of a paper coffee card which you could save if you didn't use all 15 drinks.
  15. I have tried both and find Coke Zero not to my liking. What bothers me about statements like yours is why you put down what others enjoy/prefer. Why not state what you prefer without insulting my tastes. FYI I'm doing a 28 day cruise next month. I don't know why you think the number of cruises you have taken matters, it really doesn't seem to matter to Princess. I have found that full suites do seem to get problems resolved quickly. I have an awful lot of cruises with Princess which means little after you reach the magic number of 15 cruises to be on the top tier. I believe they need a higher level perhaps at 50 cruises. RCL made a higher level to honor their loyal cruisers of which I am one. Your Captain’s Circle level is Elite 66 Cruises Sailed 363 Total Princess Cruise Days I am finding their suite perks are not as good as other lines we've been on so I'm not loyal to any cruise line. It choice now revolves around itinerary and price and starting port.
  16. I prefer Diet Coke, it's wonderful. There's more revenue in alcohol so why wouldn't they cater to that beverage?
  17. I'm of the opinion it's a rip off. The packages dictate how much gratuity you pay. Elite and Platinum internet is not 50% off because all loyalty tiers pay the same amount. I never buy either package.
  18. Island Princess D728 is a very small cabin. It's a far walk to the buffet for morning coffee if that's important to you.
  19. Every thing on the Princess web site is per person so why would I understand your variance. In loo of the info that it's for two of you it's a decent deal. The best deals are on the last minute cruises which are accessible on the top of the Princess page. Most people can't cruise with only a few weeks notice unless they are retired.😃
  20. In a full suite on Discovery I was not granted thermal suite access I would have had to pay. Newer ships have their spa in a such a way you cannot separate the thermal suite for suite pax, so I was told.
  21. I also buy gift cards on AARP. Keep in mind that if you cancel or get a price reduction the credit goes onto the gift card so you need to keep all of them.
  22. If you think $1000 a day is a good deal for a Mexican cruise enjoy, I sure wouldn't . I cruise in full suites on Princess and find your deal poor. At the $1000 PP PD rate I prefer a more inclusive premium cruise line. I'm doing a 28 day Med cruise on the Island Princess in an S4 for very little more then what you're quoting. You are quoting per person?
  23. That's more information then I could get out of customer service when I called. My best wishes go to Israel
