  1. This is not ‘the Dewa’ mentioned in this forum. Different provider. Dewa is a very, very common name in Bali.
  2. Dewa contact information - I used him as guide in 2019. Excellent guide. WhatsApp: +6285238493089 Email: dgrock1140@ yahoo .com (Remove Spaces) You can also find more details and inspiration in this topic.
  3. My vote goes to early June. Still snow in the mountains and a lot of water in rivers and waterfalls.

  5. Vancouver is Canada - you need the eTA to enter Canada. I assume your first entry to US is a port in Alaska - when cruising I’m using the address of the cruise line port agent for the first entry into US.
  6. On vy.no, tickets can be purchased at the earliest 120 days before travel. 'Norway's Best' has tickets available earlier as mentioned in post #3.
  7. Just for information, here is a video of the lifeboat tender operation.
  8. Here is a short video from my Bar Harbor tendering
  9. Might be better to post your question in the Western Europe Board or the P&O Cruises board
  10. Yes, purchase a DOT ‘City Pass Small’ - you need to have data roaming on your phone (or an EU Sim-card). Note that the 24 hour period starts immediately after purchase in the app.
  11. There is no information yet on the free shuttle bus for 2023 - but for terminal 3 it will be a better option from the Orientkaj metro than public buses 25 or 164, which stop at terminal 1. A single day tricket will be the best option for public transport (DKK 24) - purchase at ticket vending machine or the DOT App. A taxi from the city to Oceankaj is approx. DKK 250 - depends on day of the week and time - use Viggo App - https://www.viggo.com. Remember that prices in Denmark include tips.
  12. It takes 15 minutes by train from Copenhagen Central to the airport, so one option is of course a hotel in Copenhagen close to the station. Hotel Copenhagen Villa is also an option close to the station. It makes it a little simpler if you want to spend the day/evening in Copenhagen. There is also a Metro directly from Kongens Nytorv to the airport (20 minutes). At the airport there are two hotels (both Nordic Choice Hotels) - Clarion which is the former Hilton and Comfort which is a brand new hotel - smaller and sparser rooms. I myself use the Comfort Hotel when I have an early flight out of the airport.
  13. It is more likely that it is too early to book - check at a later date.
  14. Honestly not the best itinerary. Olden is the only port in a deep fjord. Other ports are coastal cities. Bergen is a nice city. Måløy is a new destination, and a very tiny city - only option here is probably ship excursions. I have only been in Kristiansand for business - in my opinion not that attractive. There is a topic in Northern Europe forum
  15. In principle, there are two options - a visit to the North Cape Monument and the Hall or a boat trip to the Gjesværstappan Nature Reserve. I would choose North Cape on the first visit, but if you are interested in birds and nature, the nature reserve is an obvious option. Still snow and cold in June and then enjoy the Midnight Sun.
  16. in particular, you must check about 1 month before your trip whether ETIAS is required when entering Schengen.
  17. An option is to take a taxi to Orientkaj Metro station and the Metro to ‘Kongens Nytorv’. There might also be a free shuttle bus from cruise terminal to Orientkaj- at the metro station you can pay with credit card in the ticket vending machines - but there might be a queue. The DOT ticket app is a better solution if you have free data roaming. Canal tour is an excellent way to explore the city - also visit the Royal Palace (Amalienborg), Nyhavn and Rosenberg Slot.
  18. I did submit my post before fully answered. Sure only passport control before entering the flight to YYZ in AMS - No customs in AMS.
  19. No - there will be no custom or immigration check when traveling within the Schengen Area. (I did submit my previous post before it was finished)
  20. No problems - 2 hr 35 m is enough time in Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam. Passport control when you leave Schengen area in Amsterdam airport. No customs - in FCO your luggage will be checked through to YYZ. just note the time to get from Civitavecchia cruise port to FCO. note: check if ETIAS will be required for entry into Schengen area by November 2023 - the system is expected to be fully operational in November 2023.
  21. I have done similar cruises - not a usual itinerary - might help if you post the itinerary and number of days. I believe there must be quite many sea days in addition to the Suez Canal transit- some people enjoy sea days - others don't. Also flying into Mumbai and pre-cruise stay in Mumbai might be a challenge if you haven't travelled in India before. Make sure to fly into Mumbai at least two days before the cruise - if flight or luggage delayed for technical or other reasons you might miss your cruise - the ship wont wait.
  22. walking is not an option - either a taxi (available at terminal) or public transport. Topic is frequently discussed in this topic or other topics in this forum.
  23. Just note that there might be too much snow for biking in May. Bike rental in Myrdal is possible from June 1 to September 30
