Sammigar Posted February 13, 2014 #76 Share Posted February 13, 2014 Ship: Constellation CABIN #: 1137 DECK #: 11 CLASS: Inside QUIET?: Yes BALCONY VIEW: n/a BALCONY SIZE: n/a WIND A PROBLEM?: n/a SOOT A PROBLEM?:n/a PROBLEMS/COMMENTS:No problems. Very quiet at the very back, very top of the ship. This was one of the few inside cabins added with all the aqua class cabins on deck 11. Loved it as it was a very short walk (one cabin length) to the open air just above the sunset bar. Did not hear any noise from oceanview cafe below or basketball court above.
Nanatravel Posted February 13, 2014 #77 Share Posted February 13, 2014 Constellation Cabin #: 9127 Deck #: 9 Class: AQ Area: Aft Port side Bed near: Bathroom Quiet?: Yes Balcony view: Straight out and back. Forward view obstructed by elevator bank. Balcony size: standard, small: 2 chairs, 1 small table Wind a problem?: no Soot a problem?: no Problems/comments: None. Mirrored wall makes cabin feel bigger than it is. Bathroom seemed smaller to me with shower having glass door. No water problems on the floor. Individual reading lamps on each bedside table. Close to elevators without any noise. AQ perks were nice but not necessary for us. Did not like the special shower head.

Biker19 Posted February 16, 2014 #79 Share Posted February 16, 2014 (edited) I've seen this info in several posts and thought it would be useful to post it here: Each of the following cabins on the Millennium Class ships (Millennium, Infinity, Constellation, Summit) has some particular benefit over its peers of the same class -- most often an oversized veranda, sometimes larger cabin or nicer decor. Not all of these differences are accurately reflected in any known deck plans. SS-6131,6132,6145,6146 CC-9043,9038,9201,9164,9162,9160 CC-8045,8046,8185,8176,8172,8170 CC-7203,7212,7208,7206 CC-6135,6136,6143,6144 2A-2B-8161,8146,9173,9138 (corrected 2/17/14) 2B-2A-7049,7080,7163,7166,7171,7173,7175,7177,7174,7176, 7178,7180 (corrected 2/17/14) 2C- 6016,6018,6020,6021,6022,6023,6024,6025,6026,6027, 6029,6030,6031,6033,6035,6053,6048 Thank you for all those that contributed for compiling the info above. MisterBill99 Posted February 16, 2014 #80 Share Posted February 16, 2014 2A-8161,8146,9173,9138 2B-7049,7080,7163,7166,7171,7173,7175,7177,7174,7176, 7178,7180 Thanks for posting this, but I think you have your 2A's and 2B's confused. All of those 2B cabins on deck 7 are 2A's, and the 2A deck 8 cabins are actually 2B's. I just booked 7176 on Summit and was confused when I saw you list it as a 2B, since I paid for a 2B and got the free upgrade to 2A.

kampinguru Posted February 18, 2014 #83 Share Posted February 18, 2014 Ship: Constellation CABIN #: 8048 DECK #: 8 CLASS: Concierge C2 AREA: Forward BED NEAR: Bathroom QUIET?: no. too close to elevator BALCONY VIEW: Obstructed. Window washing platform on right. BALCONY SIZE: Standard WIND A PROBLEM?: No. First balcony inside the hump so it is protected. SOOT A PROBLEM?:No. Forward location PROBLEMS/COMMENTS:Not listed as obstructed but the cabin directly aft, 8050 is but the window washing platform is parked between 8050 and 8048 so you cant look aft without seeing the platform. Ship: Constellation CABIN #: 7076 DECK #: 7 CLASS: 2C AREA: Forward BED NEAR: Bathroom QUIET?: no. too close to elevator. lots of people talking in hallway. BALCONY VIEW: look down on lifeboats but view is standard balcony room view. BALCONY SIZE: Standard WIND A PROBLEM?: No. Inside the hump so it is protected. SOOT A PROBLEM?:No. Forward location PROBLEMS/COMMENTS:This room had a loud air conditioning sound. You could hear it running when it kicked in. Not bothersome to me but to some it might be. luv2camp04 Posted February 24, 2014 #84 Share Posted February 24, 2014 Ship: Summit CABIN #: 7078 DECK #: 7 (Vista) CLASS: 2C AREA: Forward BED NEAR: Bathroom QUIET?: For the most part BALCONY VIEW: Excellent BALCONY SIZE: Standard WIND A PROBLEM?: No SOOT A PROBLEM?: No PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: Main issue with cabin is that it is an adjoining room. That created noise both from the adjoining cabin's occupants (talking, TV, etc..) but also they left balcony door open one night which created a wind tunnel affect. We called guest services and they took care of it immediately. Pros: Location means no obstruction of view.

Room is just before indent, so you don't look down onto lifeboats BALCONY SIZE: Normal WIND A PROBLEM?: No SOOT A PROBLEM?: No PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: Loved the room, no complaints. Close to forward elevators, bit of a walk to MDR, so beware if you have mobility problems.

Rare ghstudio Posted March 7, 2014 #88 Share Posted March 7, 2014 (edited) SHIP: Infinity CABIN #: 9127 DECK #: 9 CLASS: A2 AREA: Midship BED NEAR: Bathroom QUIET?: most of the time BALCONY SIZE: same as most all the A2/C2/C3 cabins WIND A PROBLEM?: no SOOT A PROBLEM?: no PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: Everything works, but would not book this cabin again due to it being partially under a service area for the buffet (same as 9106) and you hear the occasional cart being rolled across the floor. I would book 9129 or 9108 with reduced noise. Edited March 7, 2014 by ghstudio
C 2 C Posted March 7, 2014 #89 Share Posted March 7, 2014 9137 Constellation Bathroom on left side as one enters the room. This puts sink's tap next to the shower, a configuration we prefer. On M class ships standard cabin configuration has always had the bed next to the bathroom. Cabin between mid and aft elevators, very convenient to the ocean view cafe and aft bar. Noise at times from overhead traffic in buffet. This would not be a cabin that we would pick again for that reason. As we walk forward near cabin 9043 there is a very loud noise from the pool pumps, heard ten cabins away.. an area we would avoid as well. Deck 8 seems a better choice all around except for the lack of AQ.

#1packerfan Posted March 11, 2014 #91 Share Posted March 11, 2014 Ship: Summit CABIN #: 9138 DECK #: 9 CLASS: 2B AREA: Aft, right by aft elevators BED NEAR: Bathroom QUIET?: Yes BALCONY VIEW: OK, cannot look down because of lifeboats, and overhang above BALCONY SIZE: Little larger since it's on the back indent WIND A PROBLEM?: No SOOT A PROBLEM?: No PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: Room was fine and in a good location. Stairs come up to the buffet in the middle of it. Close to aft bar. Dining room is in the aft also so close to that. Ship is not that big so walking from one end to the other never took long. Bfson Posted March 21, 2014 #92 Share Posted March 21, 2014 (edited) Ship: Constellation CABIN: 1116 Deck 11 Class: Aqua Spa Bed Location: Near Bathroom Quiet: Yes Balcony View-excellent-sticks out farther any of the other Aqua cabins on the floor No Wind of Soot Problems Problem for all Aqua spa cabins on 11: the sliding glass door to the verandah cannot be locked from the outside. So if you are sitting out there in any sort of swell the door will slide open or closed, repeatedly, on its own. shofer Posted March 21, 2014 #93 Share Posted March 21, 2014 CABIN #: 6206 DECK #: 6 CLASS: 2-D AREA: Center BED NEAR: door QUIET?: Very BALCONY VIEW: obstructed BALCONY SIZE: average WIND A PROBLEM?: no SOOT A PROBLEM?: no PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: Great location to stairway and elevators. But not happy about lifeboat blocking my view. On the M-Class ships, the lifeboat is below the level of the deck so no obstruction while sitting down. I would not book this class again. Iamthesea Posted April 7, 2014 #99 Share Posted April 7, 2014 (edited) CONSTELLATION CABIN #: 6145 DECK #: Penthouse CLASS: Sky Suite AREA: AFT BED NEAR: Bathroom - Unlike a standard stateroom, the bed is on the wall facing the outside wall/balcony door. Bathroom was huge, unlike the standard SS's (see photos) QUIET?: Fairly. Could hear piano being played in the connecting PH, and also heard a child having a temper tantrum, but this was during the day and did not bother us. ;) BALCONY VIEW: Beautiful of the port side. BALCONY SIZE: Very large (see photo) WIND A PROBLEM?: Not really SOOT A PROBLEM?: No PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: The closet door slide instead of opening out. One side has shelves with a safe on one. The other side is for hanging clothes. Neither is large and the door made it awkward to get to things. There were also automatic lights in the closet - one for each side. If the doors were not closed just so, the light would stay on. The doors also had a habit of sliding when there was ship movement. I woke up one night to a light glaring in my eyes. The door had come open in the middle of the night. Not enough electrical outlets for U.S appliances. Plenty for European! Take some 2 prong adaptors to use with small electronics such as cell phones and iPads or convertible current appliances.
