PCWalton1 Posted November 13, 2013 Author #152 Share Posted November 13, 2013 I'm working my way thru' David McCullough's "The Path Between The Seas", what an epic story, so naturally this cruise is high on the list :) The guest speaker recommended that book too so I think I will download it. Rare BillOh Posted November 13, 2013 #153 Share Posted November 13, 2013 Enjoying breakfast at Windjammer then it's off to the theater for a presentation on the Panama canal. Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk 2 I'll be curious as to what you think of this presentation. Is it filled with useful information that will add to your enjoyment, or is it like the port shopping talks that I've gotten use to skipping. PCWalton1 Posted November 13, 2013 Author #160 Share Posted November 13, 2013 I'll be curious as to what you think of this presentation. Is it filled with useful information that will add to your enjoyment, or is it like the port shopping talks that I've gotten use to skipping. (Asked out of sincerity and curiousity) It was a fast 45 minutes as he touched on the history of building the canal. He showed many pictures of the various sections of the canal and went into details on parts of the canal, such as the door and how they maintain them. I enjoyed it but I like those kind of details. :o
PCWalton1 Posted November 13, 2013 Author #161 Share Posted November 13, 2013 Did you get any of the drink plans, if I may ask, & if so what would you recommend? My DH is a wine drinker but not much of anything else. I am more versatile. Thanks, Bobbie We got a seven bottle wine package but couldn't use it last night as the Robert Mondavi I wanted wasn't broke out yet. :(
