I'm working my way thru' David McCullough's "The Path Between The Seas", what an epic story, so naturally this cruise is high on the list :)

 

The guest speaker recommended that book too so I think I will download it.

I have a small question, my partner only speak French, can you verify if they have French menu in the MDR. Thanks a million(only if you get the chance) no worries

It was a fast 45 minutes as he touched on the history of building the canal. He showed many pictures of the various sections of the canal and went into details on parts of the canal, such as the door and how they maintain them. I enjoyed it but I like those kind of details. :o

Did you get any of the drink plans, if I may ask, & if so what would you recommend? My DH is a wine drinker but not much of anything else. I am more versatile.

Stopped in to see the Loyalty Ambassador to book Independence of the Seas for a New Years cruise in 2014 (dec 28th)
