Following and CAN NOT wait to sail on this awesome ship. Your review is without a doubt the best I have seen. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication. I can assure you it was well worth all of your very obvious effort!

OmG this is the best review that I have ever read! Thank you so much for the detail & amazing, information & particularly the great pictures.

We are flying to the US to take the ship transatlantic back to Europe in September & your review is making the anticipation greater with each word I read!

A few questions from my side:

- have you tried Izumi?

- are you using the online web services, are they pricy?

As we are doing the transatlantic, I'm seriously considering the premium or ultimate drink package, did anyone you met get it & comment on it?

If you mention these on the following pages, I'm still on page 13 & just started reading last night.

You sound like a fun person to cruise with...perhaps our paths will cross on the high seas one day...

Thanks again!

Hello!

I am just starting your review! I am planning my honeymoon for next September and this ship looks amazing and I really want to try it out. I am hesitant because it is so big and that is so many people but hopefully your review will convince me! I am newer to cruising, been with Disney once, NCL once and Carnival twice.

Looking forward to reading!!

If I ever decide to do a future one, say after my Quantum cruise, I will have learned a lot from this experience and hopefully make it even better.

The funny thing is, I joined the Celebrity Constellation the day this cruise ended. Celebrity has been my preferred line up until now. It was a 5 night cruise and it was so disappointing that I can't muster any enthusiasm to even consider reviewing it. I had been on Contellation twice before, both 14 night cruises, and even though not in the same league as the Solstice Class, have a certain affection for it.

How ones perspective can change. My Oasis experience has completely moved the goalposts.

Warm regards

megacruiser

Just wondering when you cruise on the Quantum will be? We are sailing on her Feb 2015 and it would be awesome if you write a review about her before we sail.

We have sailed Celebrity 12 times and was our cruise line of choice but after our last two cruises being disappointing we have decided to try RCCL a try and have 3 cruises booked. I am happy to hear how pleased you were with Oasis.

Hello Megacruiser!

I love this thread/review, thank you so much!

We will be on Oasis´ transatlantic voyage on September 1st, we just recently found out that my wife is pregnant and I am now trying to go through the menu on 150 to see if she can eat there as well. How strict do you think they are on the set menu? If she can´t have one of the dishes, do you think they would allow her to have an extra of something else on the menu? After reading your review I feel I must try 150 out =)

I saw a photo of what appears to be a cigar bar - do they have one on Oasis?

You can smoke cigars in the Champagne bar only (inside) or you can go to the suite decks outside at 7pm-whenever for the cigars under the stars and smoke there. there is also a bar up there. I did that one night and it was quite peaceful.

I would be very surprised if there is any inside smoking on Oasis other than in the Casino.

Unless something has changed since I cruised on Oasis 4/26-5/3/14, you can only smoke cigars inside at the Champagne Bar. Cigarettes are allowed in the Casino and outside in designated areas only. Trust me, I was there.:)

My, oh my, oh my. What a review with "great pictures." :) With you taking all these pictures, I don't see how you could have enjoyed yourself doing anything else. It looks like your itinerary was like ours to Labadee and Falmouth, etc.

I have cruise for the last 25 years off and on on different cruise lines. This year we went on Freedom of the Seas, and we had never been on a ship as large as this.

What drew my attention to read your review, was that you had "pictures" which I love to see also. I had no clue that the Oasis was so large, and it looks to me, like it is a WORLD of its own.:)

Then a stroll on to the aft of deck 15 to the Flowrider where a surfing show was being performed. They all seemed very competent surfers but surely they must be occupied elsewhere on the ship too - maybe fitness instructors etc?

Excellent photos. I came to the party late but am reading every word!
