Explorer of the seas 24 nights Syd to Seattle - 23rd April 2016 to 17th May 2016, a bit over $2,500 plus gratuities total price for two people Oceanview GTY. That is cheap! Balcony GTY is a bit over $4,000 total (less if you have C&A balcony discount, when I did a dummy on the direct site)

Need to get back from Seattle. Not sure how much that is worth. Be a nice one to maybe stay on for an Alaska cruise?

Have a look at Carnival, 23 May, 10 nights South Pacific islands. Noumea and 3 islands that are tender. Price starts at $999.00.

Our Niece who is a Travel Agent and gives us a family discount got us Guaranteed Balcony and $100.00 on board credit for $1049 each.

I think there are a few cabins left.

If it is too late to take advantage of , as it is for most of us already booked up. Write it down book some leave for next year and see if the same happens again.

Here's something for those with at least 2 weeks in October/ November 2016 - keen on 'modern luxury' on Celebrity Solstice - Syd to Singapore or Sin - Syd - one way 14 nights on Celebrity Solstice with free upgrade from inside to BALCONY (surely obstructed?) and TWO PERKS . Goes via Brisbane, Cairns and Bali.

Deal available on 'off peak' cruises from Oct 8 to Dec 9. and this includes two one way cruises to New Zealand.

IF the e-mail I've just received from a specialist cruise agency is correct, this deal start tomorrow, SUN 13 March from 10 AM.

And if the current Celebrity website fares do not jump too much with tomorrow's sale, my estimate is about $1800 for balcony (with comp grats being one of the perks) - that about $129 pp per night on a quality ship for Syd to Sing leg.

About $200 more for New Zealand for a shorter 12 nights cruise - but of course the airfare from Auckland is cheap and the flight is not too long.

Looking at this cruise (Solstice Syd to Singapore) as we speak. Offered $1840 plus OBC US$150 per person plus drinks package. It is sounding tempting but then there is the airfare back from Singapore.

:D:D:D:):):)

Scoot economy 12/11 $100, Biz $300

Pretty cheap, the Biz class is very comfortable

Also looking at the return leg now departing on 31 October, even a little cheaper still with obc and classic drinks pkge. With your tip about Scoot I am very very tempted. I'm guessing Scoot is an el cheapo airline much like Air Asia? I've flown Air Asia and wouldnt be in a hurry to do it again.

We flew Scoot a few days ago Singapore-Gold Coast. The seating was 3-4-3 with narrow aisles making it a bit squeezy. But it seemed like a new aircraft, the attendants were nice and it left on time and arrived early. Quite a few children on the plane who were mostly quiet. We'd fly with them again if the price was good.

:D:D:D:DScoot Biz is excellent, we booked the bulkhead, heaps of leg room. Veeery comfortable

Food was good

For entertainment you need your own device (they give you a connection plug and headphones) choice of movies was poor

I am looking at the cruise on 31/10 Sing to Syd

We are sailing to Seattle 23/4 and wont be home till 25/6
