Our waiter said something about the Jewel but unfortunately any class bigger then Vision can't fit under the bridge :( bummer I would love to have a Radiance class ship call Baltimore home Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Adam Goldstein, among other RCCL officials, has said that Radiance class ships will fit under the bridges to Baltimore. Although the Radiance class ships are in demand everywhere, do not count them out. And, they do have a plan to build more almost like Radiance class ships.

Great to see some good possibilities put up while I have been asleep.

Royal are certainly trying to confuse the opposition.

1 June 2016 guesses.

Ovation to replace Anthem in New York.

Anthem or Quantum with Jewel in Alaska

Oasis to Asia

Oasis 3 Med

Radiance Harwich

Brilliance Barcelona

Independence and Navigator Southampton

Serenade Copenhagen

Rhapsody Rome

Splendour to be sold or transferred

Wow SpringAussie... Q class in Alaska?!?!? Well you sure were a guru last year when we were all figuring out Rhapsody and others, I think just before the announcements we were only 5 or 6 ships shy of getting every one right.

After Q debacle of the surprise China deployment, I think Anthem will be Bayonne's ship for a long time. If any Q ship does Alaska, I feel it will be Q herself from China (or Sydney) via Hawaii to take place of Rhapsody's old route. This would be the easiest and least costly imo:

Quantum: China&Oz winter, Alaska summer

Anthem: Bayonne year round

Ovation: Fort Lauderdale winter (in place of Allure?), Southampton summer

Oasis in China/Malaysia/Sydney I can see that especially with all your evidence of the larger ports, and especially since it looks like the 3 Freedom class ships are hanging out elsewhere, and also with consideration Oasis IV may be coming.

Oasis: China

Allure: Europe, either full time or winter in Port Canaveral

Oasis III: takes place of Oasis year round Fort Lauderdale

Side notes:

You think Vision still going to Oz?

Any new rumours of Legend being sold to CTrip?... with Splendour not too far behind?

I still like Navigator for Miami in place of Majesty!!! So Adventure out of Southampton

Which Radiance Class ship stays full time in Europe? ;)

I personally do not see Quantum doing Alaska, due to size reasons.

She surely stays in Asia or sometimes switches to Australia.

I see Radiance and Vision or Jewel doing Alaska in 2016.

What makes me wonder is that Vision appears at Riviera Ports (Villefranche and Cannes) in May 2016, so she might sail from Barcelona again and Brilliance from Harwich.

She is still listed in Le Havre for 2016, several times. And yesterday the list has been updated. And Navigator was added, which seems to sail from Southampton in 2016 in summer. And moving to Far East in late 2016...

I can remember that when they were talking about Anthem that they wanted it to sail a lot from Southampton, they wanted a ship that was connected with Great Britain and sails most of its time there.

I don't know if that was true but i will try to find it in the web.

With Vision going to Oz that is what some Radiance staff told passengers recently that is the replacement ship for Sydney 2016/17.Yesterday Vision was noticed by others in a few European ports as updated entries.

CTrip have 125 million email subscribers and aim to sell a cruise to 1% of that list annually. A friend was talking to the guys from CTrip on Celebrity Century in December and they also said they need more ships fast to sell to the booming Chinese market.

I have not heard of a full time Radiance for Europe.

Maybe I'm just ignorant...but how can a person be offering a RCCL cruise ship for sale?? Seems like a joke to me!!

Rci are selling it through an agent. Like selling your house through an estate agency

The ship that was booked as Anthem of the Seas has started to be pulled from the schedules of European ports. Both Riviera Ports and Palma have pulled that booking.

It is starting to look like Independence of the Seas and Navigator of the Seas are the ships designated for deployment to Southampton for the summer 2016 season.

Allure of the Seas is still destined for Barcelona.

Rhapsody has remained confirmed for Civitavecchia.

Vision appears to be re-positioned over to Venice with just the one stop at Riviera ports on the way over.

I've mentioned it before, and I'll say it again, I think that all 3 Oasis class ships will be in Florida for the winter of 2016-17. Well atleast if the St. Maarten port schedule is correct, then there are 3 different Oasis class ships scheduled to call there.

So my guess regarding Oasis Class:

1 Ship in PE year round

1 Ship in PE for the winter, doing Med in the summer

1 Ship in PC year round

In Spring 2017 (as Celebrity-fan speculated in the other deployment thread), I believe one of the Oasis class ships will go to China at that point.

Regarding the speculation of a Q Class ship in China...I personally don't think so. However, if Quantum does sails Alaska, I would think it would have to sail out of Seattle due to size limits.

Regarding Indy, she is booked in the St. Maarten port schedule throughout summer 2016, most likely taking over the itineraries of the Oasis class ship that heads over to Europe (like she is doing this summer). However, that could change.

I also have my doubts about Quantum going to Alaska. With all the major alterations that they are making to her for the Asian market do you really think that hey would turn around and send her to Alaska that soon after. She will not be geared to the North American market. They are taking out the music hall and making he casino bigger, removing Mamma Mia and replacing DD with a new dining system.

Perhaps one of her sisters will sail Alaska but not Quantum.

The Riviera port re-bookings and Palma re-bookings are changes made today from what was there yesterday.

Riviera ports has been crucial for confirmation when I first found that Vision and Explorer were going to Europe in the past.

This is a puzzle and some ports are simply more reliable for quick changes than others. I have seen some ports that simply leave old bookings for months after the changes have been made.

Indy is also booked for the full season at Grand Cayman as of yesterday.

Many ports around Europe still show Adventure and Anthem, but not these 2 as of today.

Dubrovnik updates are the source for confirmation of Vision in Venice.

All port bookings are always subject to change of course.

As I said in my post, I also do not think Quantum will go to Alaska. It wouldn't make sense after the changes. I was responding to SpringAussie who said that he thought a Q class ship would go to Alaska.

Are those ports now showing Indy instead? Where do you think Ovation will go? I personally thought that those port bookings for Anthem in Europe were actually placeholders for Ovation.

Yes, Indy is confirmed at Palma and Riviera. The good thing about Palma is that they assign a number to each visit. That way, I could see that up until this week all RCL bookings for RCI, Celebrity and Azamara were placed by their port agent Intercruises in sequential order a long time ago and had order numbers. The new bookings for Navigator and Indy are new today due to newly assigned sequential numbers.

Intercruises is the agent at Southampton, Palma and Riviera for RCL. TUI is the owner of Intercruises the port agent. Royal has a joint venture with TUI. Thus, the reliability of changes is enhanced. When a Southampton sailing is adjusted all Intercruises ports are the quickest to make changes.

Interesting. What's your guess on Ovation?

I know there is some confusion about when she is going to be released. RCI website says fall, but I remember reading about other reports saying spring/mid 2016. If it's fall, then I would guess straight to the caribbean. If its spring, then possibly Europe, or to the caribbean? Maybe taking over the itineraries that Indy is scheduled for throughout the summer? Who knows...

The 2013 annual report lists delivery for Ovation in Q2 which would be April to June. Even though RCCL has released the consolidated version of its 2014 earnings they have not released the 2014 annual report which should mention a delivery date. I believe the shipyard has also said early summer.

I would be more inclined to trust the annual report and the shipyard as opposed to the website.

I have always thought that with a June delivery she does Europe summer and FLL winter. Basically taking over what was initially announced for Anthem prior to the Bermuda issues that led to Quantums deployment to Asia which I believe was originally intended for Ovation.

My guess is that Ovation sails from Southampton from 2016 - Meyer Werft states, it is planned to deliver the ship in spring 2016: http://www.meyerwerft.de/en/meyerwerft_de/medien/presseticker/pressemitteilung_detail_18433.jsp

The other ship sailing from Southampton should be Navigator - from yesterday, she is booked in Le Havre and Villefranche, I am sure the other ports are adding her calls as well soon.

There are still some remaining calls for Adventure otS, but my guess is that they are outdated and not valid anymore...

And I guess, the Independence calls in Europe are a placeholder for Ovation.

Anthem surely stays at Cape Liberty, I think Bermuda's channel should be dredged until May 2016...

Vision for Venice? Why do you all think so? Is there any possibility to get access to the expected calls for Dubrovnik in 2016??
