Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria in Sydney on Thursday with fireworks

Apologies if there is already a thread about this but haven't found it.

 

According to today's paper, the two Queens will be in Sydney Harbour on Thursday and there will be fireworks at 9.15pm to celebrate the rendezvous.

 

I remember seeing this happen back in 2008. It was a glorious evening on Sydney Harbour and it drew huge crowds.

 

Plan to head down there after work on Thursday.

Saw Queen Victoria the other day in Suva. Beautiful ship.

They are both in the harbour now. The big swap has taken place and QM2 is now docked at the OPT , and QV is at Athol Buoy.
