How to get MLife to match your RCI status?

Recommended Posts

Thanks Bob. I only get a blank page from that link with a few pictures. Is there more on there ?

My problem is getting RCCL to recognise my Mlife membership ?

About 3/4 of the way down the page, you see mention of M-Life here:

https://secure.royalcaribbean.co.uk/cas/homeLoggedout.do?snav=1&cS=NAVBAR&pnav=6&wuc=GBR/

It looks like you have to log on the UK site to see more info.

Thanks Bob, I'd just like to see it in writing, on an RCI site where it says you will get the drinks and the complimentary dinner ;)

I logged into the UK site and it says what you get at the MGM hotels. Nothing that I can see about onboard.

I received a confirmation email today from Casino Royale. Backstory is I achieved Gold status with Mlife during my June Vegas trip. After I arrived home, I emailed Royal Caribbean to let them know of the status change and to please change that status in my RCCL profile. It took an email and two phone calls over the course of ten days, but I received the confirmation email. When calling the Casino Royale number, I spoke with Nicole Locker and Lawrence Hastings. Both were a delight to speak with.

Dear Mrs. XXX,

Thank you for your patience while we verify your MGM MLife's tier account status. At this time we have confirmed your player status as a Gold member and I have taken the liberty of updating your upcoming cruise reservation for the Anthem of the Seas departing this September 17, 2016. Please remember to check in with the Casino Host and staff on board when you arrive. They will be able to assist you further during your time on board and help you access your exclusive benefits such as your 5 complimentary drink vouchers and your dinner for two at one of our specialty restaurants. If you have any additional questions please reach out to Club Royale by dialing 1-888-561-2234. We have agents ready to assist you from 8:00am until 10:00pm Monday through Friday, and from 9:00am until 7:00pm Saturday and Sunday Eastern Standard time ready to assist you. Thank you again for choosing Royal Caribbean, and we look forward to welcoming you on board.

I have now finally got my D+ status linked to MLife to make me Platinum......but I still cannot find it anywhere, in writing on line on RCIs site about the perks received on board ( heresay about drinks vouchers and the complimentary meal from friends, many of whom have faced a battle recently on board to receive these)

However, after the post above ^^^ I have also reached out to Nicole to see if she will confirm it to me. Will post if she does.

Hi there L ,

Just adding my 2 cents.

We applied 2 years ago and got the confirmation of Platinum status . Not yet had the chance to return to Vegas to reap the rewards there but have also not bothered trying to get the Mlife rewards on board ship , why? The whole point of the programme was supposed to provide reciprocal benefits not as well as , a bit like sailing Celebrity when you cruised mainly with RCI and vice versa . It is no wonder people have had to "battle" to get them. Personally I CBA, we get enough free alcohol and opportunity to go to the speciality restaurants albeit at reduced rate not completely free .Just saying :)

as has been stated by others before if you get your mlife status by your rci c&a level you do not get any mlife benefits onboard the ship. those benefits are just for mlife members who got their mlife status by their play in the land based casinos.

When you get to Vegas, simply go to MGM casino, and take a picture of your C&A status or an old seapass card. They did it for us in less than 10 minutes.. Easiest way for us to do it..

Gee, maybe I could take this instead to get my status match:

2015-07-13%2018.23.23.jpg

They made a mistake on printing our commemorative reward and when they reprinted it, it was on a Pinnacle document. It was to get a crystal block. We are D+, but I wonder if I could get away with this. At least I can say we made it to Pinnacle on paper......:p

I am really just kidding, I could never do that, but I'm sure someone would.

I will have to remember about just going to MGM first to get our cards, if we ever go to Vegas again. I really want to, but we don't like flying.

Looks like someone printed your information on the wrong certificate. 280 points on a Pinnacle Club certificate:confused::confused::confused:

Edit.. I see that you said that in your post.

I happened to see this thread before my trip to Tunica this past weekend. I printed out my diamond status with my crown & anchor number and presented it at the Mlife desk at Gold Strike. They upgrade me to gold while I waited. It was great to bypass the long line at the buffet and actually have someone bring my drink to me rather than self serve. I love this board. There is a wealth of information!

I was in Vegas this past weekend and have always had a Caesar's/Harrah's group Total Rewards Card. I have been in their Diamond level for the past few years as most tier points were earned at our local casino that was managed by Caesars' In May of this year the management agreement ended and the casino is now operated by the owner under their own name and loyalty program. Since I had signed up for an MLife card a couple of years ago when at a conference in an MGM hotel I went to the MLife desk in the Bellagio and asked about the program. I was asked if I had any loyalty status with RCL and stated I was Diamond Plus. She asked if I had any documentation or proof with me. All I had was my phone so I loaded My Cruises and showed her the screen. They issued me a Platinum MLife card on the spot. She said when sailing on RCL to check in with the Casino Host and I would get free drinks in the casino as well as no fee for any cash advances for gaming. I already get these perks with the RCL Casino Royale program but it is still nice to get some preferences. Since I will likely not get to Diamond in the Caesar's program any more we will be witching over to the MGM MLife program.

I haven't read this whole thread, but I can offer this tip. You don't have to print out anything. Just show them your status on your smart phone. I just log in to the RCCL website at the registration or MLife desk and show the page with my RCCL status and they honor the reciprocal level right away.

Cheers and good luck!

I just signed up for MLife on the web site, then called MLife and they finalized the transfer from Royal Caribbean for me over the phone. But, they will not send a card, I just have to wait until I get to one of the Casinos to pick up my card. D+ will be Platinum with MLife

Anyone on the east coast, I just got an email that the Borgata Casino in Atlantic City will be an MGM property the first of the year. I might wait until that happens and get my card there. Unless we get to Vegas before that.

I know this is an older thread - I was gold with Mlife due to to being diamond with RCCL.. but when I logged into Mlife today I saw I was downgraded to sapphire. Does anyone know if they are still honoring this? And has anyone had luck doing the upgrade at Borgata?

I'm only Emerald (almost Diamond) on RCI and get casino rates on my cruises. Will be spending several nights at Gold Strike (M Life) in Tunics (comped rooms). Will my RCI C+A status make any difference do you think? Is it automatically connected? I was surprised to get 3 nights comped since I only played slots a few hours at an MGM a few months prior. Can they see my RCI casino play?

I wood love to bypass the buffet line, Lol.

Call Mlife at 1-866-761-7111 and they will update your account. Then go to the Mlife desk the next visit to the casino and pick up your card.

Yes, but you have to sign up every year. There is a certain date that you go back to their lowest level, not sure if it's a set date or like a year after you signed up previously

Quick update and a question:

Called mlife last week (the number a few posts up) and after being put on hold just for a few minutes to confirm my status with RCCL, was given a Platinum level mlife membership based on my diamond status on RCCL. Within a couple hours, the status showed up on my online mlife account. Very quick and painless.

Now my question - being a rabid cruiser I check cruise prices all the time. Since getting the mlife status been checking Vegas hotel rates daily and really haven't seen any changes. Do these change often? I've looked on some gambling forums, but those folks mostly talk about their 'comped' rooms and personalized offers which don't apply to me!

Not complaining, though - the mlife platinum rates I'm seeing are 20-30% better than I can find anywhere else for the same rooms.

Cheers,

It should work ColeSC15. That is how we did it. Just a couple of emails, first to inquire, then to provide the actual information for them to check, then a reply email that it was all set and come on down to pick up our card. Since we have children, grand children and a home in Las Vegas I never looked into the hotel rates but the other perks including free parking are very nice to have for our trips down to the Strip.

I live in Vegas so I use the benefits regularly. When you arrive at your hotel you can go over to the MLife desk, show your Crown and Anchor status (I just take a screenshot from their website) and they will process your upgrade. It does reset every year so you may have to do it each time you visit.

This is what I did out of ignorance. I signed up online for mlife for my husband and myself first and was immediately given the lowest tier membership. That made us eligible for room and entertainment discounts.

I then contacted mlife asking how to status match. I received an email asking me to send my Royal Caribbean membership numbers, which I did. A couple days later I got a message stating that our we had been upgraded to Platinum, which was reflected on their website.

When we went to pick up our cards at the mlife desk, the clerk was quite happy that we did the status match in advance as he said it saved him and us time. So there's several ways to get the match.
