lovestocruise19 Posted June 4, 2015 #203 Share Posted June 4, 2015 Thanks for the great info! Just got my water. :) $3.18 with tax, which equals out to 26 cents per bottle. Can't get water for that cheap ANYWHERE!

keywest1 Posted June 5, 2015 #207 Share Posted June 5, 2015 Thanks OP! Got 3 packs each for our 3 cabins for our cruise in a couple of weeks, plus 3 more for our cruise in September. We normally drink lots of water, so this was a great deal for us :)
JonathanFlorida Posted June 5, 2015 #208 Share Posted June 5, 2015 Thank you, OP. We bought water for our cruise and we would have NEVER seen this without your heads-up. Respect.

evandbob Posted June 5, 2015 #210 Share Posted June 5, 2015 (edited) Thank you, OP. We bought water for our cruise and we would have NEVER seen this without your heads-up. Respect. I'm thinking that I need to call Carnival to cancel my original water orders at the old prices, or have them changed to the new product and price? I have 4 cruises coming up and I ordered water for each one. at the old prices when I originally booked. Edited June 5, 2015 by evandbob
n6uqqq Posted June 5, 2015 #211 Share Posted June 5, 2015 (edited) Thanks for the great info! Just got my water. :) $3.18 with tax, which equals out to 26 cents per bottle. Can't get water for that cheap ANYWHERE! Have you never been to Costco or Sam's Club? While a good deal as far as Carnival prices are concerned, it is still 3 times the cost of the club prices. If Carnival ever wakes up and gets reasonable with alcohol pricing they make rake in the dough. This clearly is not a glitch, probably a test case for lowering prices to raise sales. ProfCruise Posted June 5, 2015 #212 Share Posted June 5, 2015 Ordered! Normally I would never pay for bottled water, but this gal likes a bargain. Having a fresh bottle of water for the gym every day seems worth 3 bucks! Tip of the hat to the OP who discovered this and for the poor Carnival programmer who made the error (be kind to him/her, Carnival -- he/she made many of your loyal customers very happy today). :D
lovecarnivalcruises Posted June 5, 2015 #213 Share Posted June 5, 2015 Funny I wasn't charged tax. Is is because the port is in Europe? I was not charged a tax and I ordered it for my cruise in Europe.
JillySue Posted June 5, 2015 #214 Share Posted June 5, 2015 Does anyone know what brand it is? Just curious. Carnival brand. Same as the VIFP water. :)

M&T ReadyToCruiseAgain Posted June 5, 2015 #219 Share Posted June 5, 2015 I was not charged a tax and I ordered it for my cruise in Europe. I did not pay tax either. I purchased water for an October 2015 cruise on the Splendor out of Norfolk and an October 2016 cruise on the Vista out of Barcelona. I live in Virginia so not sure what the rule is on paying tax. No big deal either way.
sunlover5 Posted June 5, 2015 #220 Share Posted June 5, 2015 Thank You so much for the tip! Got 3 for each of our cabins for our cruise in November. Worth it not to have to carry it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)
sandij Posted June 5, 2015 #221 Share Posted June 5, 2015 It was a great deal for a Carnival sale, but I get water at Sams' for 40 bottles for 3.98. I ordered one for the first day and one for the 5th day and was not charged tax on the one while at sea.
GranysT Posted June 5, 2015 #222 Share Posted June 5, 2015 Just ordered one for my Sept 24 B2B cruise on Paradise. I read this last night, and figgured it had to be a mistake, and Carnival would change it pretty quick. Tonight it's still there, so I took advantage of it. Since they charge over $20 for 8 lg bottles, I have a feeling that price was supposed to read $12.95, at least. But I'll take the $2.95 happily. Great deal
JohnSpo Posted June 5, 2015 #223 Share Posted June 5, 2015 I just ordered 1 for my cabin. They will be great to take on shore and to the gym. Great tip. Thanks. Now how about some deals on beer and wine.
