IMO something that RCI's ships are missing is a pool deck eating venue. I'd love to see something up top where you can go grab a burger or other snack food while still in your bathing suit and eat at a table outside.

Having to get dressed and go to the WJ, especially with your kids, is a PITA. (I was once even told that because our hair was wet that we couldn't come in). Most of the time we are just wanting to grab something quick because the kids want to get back in the pool. So you grab food and go back to the pool deck and eat on your lounge chair because you don't want to be accused of being a chog!

An outdoor snackbar and bar up there would be great!

I never knew there was a boxing ring on the Freedom class ships. For some reason I find that an odd choice...

I always thought it was a good fit with RCCL's "active lifestyle" theme. It was on Freedom for our 2007 cruise, and I was all ready to take lessons, but the week before, I fell off a ladder and cracks some ribs, so it was not an option. I was very disappointed. But I will say that a cruise is a great place to recover from cracked ribs! :)

The Freedom class when, Freedom first came out around 2006, had a boxing ring in the middle of the Fitness Center. It was there in 2008 when I was on board. I think it was removed in the early 2015 refurbishment, but it might have been earlier than that.

Does anyone know if the boxing rings is gone from Liberty and Indy too?

Boxing Ring was on Indy in Feb. Wasted space as it wasn't used.

Maybe make it a closed in area for their selling of Shoe inserts/lectures etc. as they take over the exercise room with chairs or the space by the Ring with chairs and sell there out in the open.

I was on Indy in April and the boxing ring was still there.

This is one area Princess has Royal beat. They have a grill and a pizza (best pizza at sea) place on the pool deck. It's awesome. They even serve ice cream with toppings both soft serve and scoop.

I know that this will be the dead thread lift of the year 🤷‍♀️

We sailed on Voyager the last week in April. Now that they have taken away the Johnny Rocket and blocked of the outside path to the aft of the ship, the top deck feels very small. Then add the fact that the waterslides have blocked one side of the lower top deck in the aft, it feels even smaller.

Imo the add-on to the top decks, that have made them smaller and/or at different levels have made the ships worse.

Not sure I follow you. The deck I refervto is above the jogging track deck. Many ships have since utilized this space better than Freedom did 6 years ago.

Wasn't aware Voyager dropped JR's

I'll be on Voyager this summer. Looking forward to it.

Make it a Crown & Anchor Diamond and up Lounge and Cabana area with an interior lounge area and exterior Cabana and Sun / lounge area. Adults only and access via room key as DL is now.
