Yes he was but the picture posted was from a roast of Dean Martin.

Unless someone is REALLY offensive, I can't make myself use the ignore feature. It's kind of like not being able to look away from a horrible crash.

I only use it when I am attacked for no reason, and the attacker just won't let up.

Ignorance is bliss in this way. ;)

Have only had to use that feature three times, and have been a member since 2003.

Ironically two of those culprits are the same person.

Just like all those folks that give those horrible "reality" shows good ratings. They love

to watch others make fools of themselves. ;p

Your right there.

Some posters sarcasm draws you into saying things you regret.

My UK android phone doesn't let me ignore and every post on every thread i subscribe to shows and my curiosity means i read them.

I know who you mean and he is a wind up merchant which is a shame because some of his posts are sensible.

That's true of most threads - participation rate is in the 1-5% range (view/post). Most are lurkers or simply come for the info/entertainment and see no need to post.

In a way it is probably just as well some of the lurkers don't post because they might be unpleasant on their posts and get the threads closed by the moderators.

If I had to guess, I would say that each time I visit this thread, it counts as a view. I keep coming back to catch up. But, if I don't have anything to add, I don't.

He can be interesting and sometimes a pain.

I was on that Freedom cruise in June and it visits great ports.

I'm a pain on occasion. [emoji6]

I seem to remember you were a wee bit feisty at one time.
