Are you referring to 'Super Mario'? Is there a way you can safely share the info to follow this on his FB page?

Well this Mario is super too but not Super Mario as most know.

 

Mario is the Suite Concierge on Serenade. Most that have had travels with him have become good friends.

I sorta backtracked it. I searched the Concierge thread on Cruise Critic and got his last name. Reyes. Then I went into FB and clicked on Find a Friend. I then typed in his name and Royal Caribbean and presto. :)

Hopefully some others members who have sailed recently will write about the ship's condition.

 

Just got off the Serenade of the Seas on Nov.1. For a ship that's going on it's 15th Birthday it's showing a little wear but still in great condition and clean. From what iv'e heard that the 12 day dry dock period is for updating laundry ( there were about a dozen washers already removed and left at one of our port destinations), painting and general maint.

I saw where they were turning the Suites upside down and replacing just about everything.

I was told in March that the light switches in the RS were being replaced with digital controls. Not much else needed fixing. The furniture was kind of blah in the living area

I have a pair of Khakis that still have a 1556 label ironed on the inside from the cleaners. [emoji33]

 

The light switches by the bar look like they are either missing or replaced.

 

I did think of 3 other problems with the Suite.

 

PS3 needs a firmware update. It won't play newer Blu Rays

 

The piano won't play a song on the CD's past track 5

 

The motorized drapes don't close very well. You have to clip them together.

Can you do a speed test and post the ping number - that will determine if it was installed?

I'm not that technically inclined. Spoiled last 20 yrs as my Son designs computer games and builds computers so rely on him. It's pouring rain, even TV signal has been in/out this afternoon, not sure if it effects internet signal too as it seems to be running slower right now then last few days. At moment my speed says currently running at 150 Mbps with signal quality at 3 bars of 5.
