antsp Posted October 19, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 19, 2017 Looking at booking a 14 day transatlantic for next yearr in a balcony cabin, I've added up the obc I will get and it comes in at $1255. That's a record for me, what's the best you have had.

Rare dickinson Posted October 19, 2017 #8 Share Posted October 19, 2017 Does the $780 include or exclude the free gratuities? I too thought of that! Would like to know the answer.
Rare Itchy&Scratchy Posted October 19, 2017 #9 Share Posted October 19, 2017 dang. I think the best we've ever got was $100. That's on our very first cruise and we spent it renting a tux. Duh.
Pam in CA Posted October 19, 2017 #10 Share Posted October 19, 2017 On my upcoming cruise in November, I’ll have about $850 in OBC plus I have the pre-paid gratuity promotion and specialty restaurant dinner. On a 15-day cruise, the gratuity savings is significant.
antsp Posted October 19, 2017 Author #11 Share Posted October 19, 2017 No the $780 is just straght obc, lots of UK cruises have it at the moment
MrsJJ Posted October 20, 2017 #12 Share Posted October 20, 2017 On my upcoming Baltic, I've got $250 Military $250 Stock $150 Future Cruise $300 On board Promotion $950 Total, that's the most we've ever gotten! I'm wondering how I'll spend it all.
stag Posted October 20, 2017 #13 Share Posted October 20, 2017 Most of the OBC deem to be non-refundable. I am wondering can you cash out OBC, even with heavy discount.
Bluemoontets Posted October 20, 2017 #14 Share Posted October 20, 2017 We had a moveover offer earlier this year, with the offer and military credit we have $2100
julie3fan Posted October 20, 2017 #15 Share Posted October 20, 2017 My $730 high is coming up in Nov. I'm spending $200 on an excursion for both of us, $150 for the Ultimate Ship Tour for me, and $120 for two Crab Shack meals for the both of us. I doubt I'll drink $260 worth at the bar (darn doctor looking after my health!) so I'll be looking at the gift shops. Or maybe the casino, but since I live in Nevada, that doesn't hold too much appeal. $250 shareholder credit $150 FCC $300 on board promo $30 customer goodwill (they changed our cruise date by 4 days and gave us $15 each for the inconvience)
Lucky TGO Posted October 21, 2017 #16 Share Posted October 21, 2017 Wow lucky you!! For me it doesn’t matter my wife has it all spent as I am filling out the health form at the pier :(. Tony
Rare geoherb Posted October 21, 2017 #17 Share Posted October 21, 2017 Our best was around $650 for seven days--actually a 3-day and a 4-day combined. It was back when Princess was trying out short cruises from Florida and having trouble selling them.

Rare trbarton Posted October 21, 2017 #20 Share Posted October 21, 2017 (edited) Here’s my credit of my cruise in a few months. $250 Military Benefits $250 Stock Benefits $50 Voyage Goodwill $50/Travel GRP promotion $75 Future Cruise Depositon $250 Shareholders Benefits $150 Onboard Credit Promotion Total of $805 I can also add the 3 BVE’s that I took before booking the cruise as a credit towards my cruise costs = $117. Plus I have pre-paid gratuity of $189. I have heard that some people have played in the casino a little bit to get back there OBC & then transferred the $ to there card & then cashed it out. Rare dickinson Posted October 23, 2017 #22 Share Posted October 23, 2017 It appears they listed the same thing 2x with slightly different labels. However, they did not add both of them in. They said $805 total but the list has an extra $250.
