ms Nieuw Amsterdam Port Everglades sailaway, January 6, 2018

I love watching the ships sail out. A rookie question: what determines the order? Is it just who's ready first?

Up to the harbor master; has to do with scheduling/next port/distance, frequency of visit in that particular port, at times; physical berth location, etc.

Stepping outside a bit while Seven Seas Mariner sails from Mallory Square. Got a quick picture and now watching her on our bow cam. Captain says as soon as she clears we will leave for Cartagena. Westerdam will be in port with us. Unfortunately, the weather prediction there is for heavy rain.

Check out the "little zoo" at the port entrance/take a complimentary shuttle to get their and back from the gangway
