Formula280SS Posted March 23, 2018 #7 Share Posted March 23, 2018 ...without breaking your teeth?! Serious question! Well, after the first week and we had two already, took one anonymously up the stair levels to the water slides and zip line and near the jungle water park (precisely where I had previously noticed the mysterious and most outrageous 'gaseous anomaly on one visit) and threw it down into the deep dark crew stairway cavern where it was believed such was emanating from. :o:')
CarolnLarry Posted March 24, 2018 #8 Share Posted March 24, 2018 Cut it up and threw it away. Tasted old and terrible.

1fifthavenue Posted March 24, 2018 #12 Share Posted March 24, 2018 We gave one to the inlaws, no idea if they've eaten it... the other we broke up at a dinner party and offered it round with coffee... I thought it was quite nice good quality dark chocolate, probably not to the American taste (Hershey's makes me heave for instance!)
Haworth Posted March 24, 2018 #13 Share Posted March 24, 2018 I organise a monthly mixed tournament at our golf club, they make great nearest the pin prizes.
Rare Beamafar Posted March 24, 2018 #14 Share Posted March 24, 2018 Does anyone have pictures of the chocolate ship? I'm trying to guage how big it is. The bigger the ship you're on, the bigger the chocolate ship is!

Bossa Nova Posted March 24, 2018 #17 Share Posted March 24, 2018 ...as a birthday cake topper for my traveling companion. The bakery made the cake with waves on top and inserted the chocolate ship. Ok, you’re going to think I’m a bad person, but I did ask the bakery if they could break the chocolate ship in half and recreate the Titanic scene with little lifeboats and sharks and icebergs! They said I would have to bring them those bits. Maybe next year...
GRANNYOFSIX Posted March 25, 2018 #18 Share Posted March 25, 2018 Probably a dumb question, but were they delivered to you cabin on a plate or wrapped up? On standard dinner plate. EM
Rare Essiesmom Posted March 25, 2018 #19 Share Posted March 25, 2018 They were delivered on the plate as shown, with the plastic cover as seen in the background. This was on Divina. EM
tallyho8 Posted March 25, 2018 #20 Share Posted March 25, 2018 On my last 2 Divina cruises they came in a plastic case with a ribbon on them. Sorry for the low quality photo.
GRANNYOFSIX Posted March 25, 2018 #21 Share Posted March 25, 2018 Our chocolate ships were also delivered in individual plastic cases with a ribbon on them both on the Divina in 2017 and the Seaside 2018. Made it simple to pack in the suitcase to take home. Almost wasteful to serve on a plate unless they can be consumed while on board:(
Rare little britain Posted March 27, 2018 Author #22 Share Posted March 27, 2018 I melt it down for cooking, makes great deserts! Good suggestion..
