Custom forms ?

When I cruised a few months ago, you did not have to fill out customs forms which surprised me. Just wondering if this is still the case?

Depends on the port. We had to fill out one at San Juan, but not at Port Canaveral.

We just disembarked in Port Everglades (Ft. Lauderdale) and no forms required there. They pushed the mobile passport app, but on day of disembarkation, it did was not activated.

No forms required on Jan. '18 Anthem sail in Bayonne.

Event though a form does not have to be completed, one does still have to make appropriate declarations, e.g. over allowance goods bought, more than $10K, fruit and veg, visited farm, etc.

Have not had to complete forms on last 2 cruises nor declare any items bought.

All the Customs Agents now are traffic cops. They just glance at your passport and wave you on through.

Sounds like no farm becoming standard at all US ports...
