I want them to change their loyalty program. I have cruised with them about 8 times and almost all of the cruises I went by myself. I paid double occupancy and should be getting double cruise points. I like Carnival, but after 2 cruises on Royal I am Platinum. After my next cruise I will be Emerald on Royal. Reward people who pay double occupancy.

The one thing I always complain about in my Carnival reviews is the buffet. I would love to have a buffet with more options and better tasting food. It is the one area that is a constant disappointment to me on every Carnival Cruise.

Try one of the Princess Royal class ships and you will be blown away by the buffet

I'm with your minority group, Love the conquest class didn't like the Vista. My only fear if they do that they will put glass all around it like the Vista class

I would LOVE to see a few more Spirit class vessels. I have not yet had the opportunity to sail on one but the deck plans appear to be perfect for a nice relaxing cruise. Just a bit bigger than the Fantasy class, more public areas, more balconies/suites, and hardly any extra crowds. Seems perfect to me.

Yes, yes, yes: Additional wait staff and room stewards and One Hour dinner in the MDR:

on our most recent cruise (which is why we are hesitant to book again), our cabin steward was so overworked we did not even get once/day service (he completely missed some days! - and the dinners were such a "waiting, waiting, waiting" event that we seriously considered dinner at the buffet [which just is NOT my preference}. I do not expect to eat and dash within 30 minutes, but I think 55-60 minutes is quite reasonable...the food is made in an assembly-line which keeps cranking it out. More waiters are necessary!!

I also agree there is a lack of social direction for 18-21+ year olds that could easily be fixed by Carnival with a bit of creativity at little additional cost.

Wow not getting service from the steward is almost unheard of. You might have had a very lazy one

Hold comedy shows in the Main theater so more people could join without having to show up 45 minutes before the show (cause of the over crowding )

Yes! I understand this will never happen because they want it to have the comedy club vibe...but it would be so nice to be able to pop in at the last minute and still be able to watch the show without ending up in a weird angled seat craning my neck to see around a giant pole. On the Miracle, the comedy shows were pretty much the only activity and they were so incredibly packed that they encouraged people to stand against the side walls. Plus all of the shows were one after the other so you either had to stay in your seat for 2+ hours or attempt to catch a repeat show that would clash with dinner time.

Just wait, when you reach Diamond, you will get free drinks during happy hour (4:30 - 8:00) in the lounge, or 3 free drinks in bars, or any combination of that. Free pictures, free lounge area, discounts, priority boarding and numerous other little things.

1. More spirit class ships. The size is clearly in demand and there aren't enough to go around. Make it a spirit class 2.0 with the upgrades.

2. A photo package. Luckily, I bought it for my cruise when it was available.

Better and more exotic itineraries....to keep all their "loyal" pax from straying to other competing lines after the 'same old' 'same old' itineraries lose their appeal. But I guess, maybe CCL wants to keep this line as their "starter" line for newer cruisers and does not care when the more 'seasoned' cruisers leave????;p

Oh wait I have another. Change the VIFP system to dollars spent that way if you have to pay more, you get more benefit and then they can combine it with their other lines. A day on Carnival may not equal a day on HAL...but a dollar on carnival equals a dollar on HAL.

^ This.

Somehow have one Carnival Corp loyalty program so European cruises on Costa, Alaska cruises on HAL and the Florida-based cruises on Carnival all count.

If Carnival is the starter line, wouldn't it make sense for the loyalty program to carry over to HAL, Princess, etc? Those passengers are loyal to Carnival Corp.

Someone's post just made me realize that if I would ask one thing of Carnival to improve upon, it would be what they offer for the 18-21 year old (or even lets go 25) young adult group. They really are fish out of water once they age out of camp. They are too young to drink - and probably do not have the money to gamble.

So...I would like to see Carnival create a true program for the young adults. With perhaps even a dedicated space like the teens have. Because even though my son is a rising JR in college, his interests and ship board activities are pretty much the same - just now with much more difficulty meeting people from his age group.

What would you like to see Carnival improve upon?

I read about another line (NCL, I think) having "Escape Room" experiences included as an activity at no additional cost.

I am curious and mean this without any snark/attitude: do we need a full program for different (adult) age groups? Does a group also need formed for single seniors? Not everyone over 21 drinks or uses the casino. There are multiple entertainment options during the day: trivia, karaoke, pools, basketball/sports deck. What happens when the young adults turn 25, I'd imagine some of them are still cruising single.

I do think a general meet and greet for like minded travelers, at a reasonable time of day (we probably all have our own definition, but certainly after muster) sounds good, but between CC M&M, FB M&M, and Friends of ... meetings - how many times/spaces are still available?

I hope those adult children are struggling finding their place can find something about cruising to make it an enjoyable experience with their families again.:):halo:

I'm actually ok with Carnival's image. They brand themselves as the "fun" ships, and between that (and their name) I expect more silliness, gaudiness, and general "camp" feel than I would find on other lines. If I want formality and elegance I won't look at Carnival, but if I want a laid back cruise with lots of options - generally at a value price - then Carnival works for me:cool:

Originally posted by saturngrl move the muster drill to interior areas instead of lining everyone up on deck like sardines in the heat.

Our last cruise (Pride) we walked past the lifeboats, but had muster inside. I thought most ships were switching to this model:confused:
