What is the 1 thing you would like to see Carnival improve?

Someone's post just made me realize that if I would ask one thing of Carnival to improve upon, it would be what they offer for the 18-21 year old (or even lets go 25) young adult group. They really are fish out of water once they age out of camp. They are too young to drink - and probably do not have the money to gamble.

So...I would like to see Carnival create a true program for the young adults. With perhaps even a dedicated space like the teens have. Because even though my son is a rising JR in college, his interests and ship board activities are pretty much the same - just now with much more difficulty meeting people from his age group.

What would you like to see Carnival improve upon?

I think the pool size should be a main concern. Don't know if that's possible ,but. Even though I never use it ,watching all those people in that mini pool reminds me of a sardine can

I'd like to see them reverse course, get away from trending toward mega ships, and get back to building ships the size of the Conquest class ships, with more public space and fewer passengers. I'm probably in the minority here, but I'd LOVE to cruise on a brand new Conquest class ship.

I wish they would improve on the spa treatments, maybe contract with a new vendor. They were so much better when I started cruising about 13 years ago. In my opinion, many of the spa staff do not seem customer-focused and have sometimes been downright rude all while the prices have climbed higher. The treatments used to be much better on the ship than at my land spas but no longer. There also used to be good specials but I haven't seen those lately. The hard sell for product is a real turn-off too.

I do LOVE the OP's idea for a better experience for young adults very much too since I have a 20 year old daughter who used to be my cruise buddy but won't step foot on any ship now. :loudcry:

Entertainment

The comedians are usually good but the shows need a lot of work

Hold comedy shows in the Main theater so more people could join without having to show up 45 minutes before the show (cause of the over crowding )

MDR servers in the numbers they used to have. The servers work hard but just have too many tables to give the individual attention they used to.

This (along with room stewards who can give room service more than once a day).

And to echo a previous post, move away from mega ships. I like the size and layout of the Conquest class. Bigger isn't always better.

Better prices for solo cruisers....at least once in a while...

I got hooked on Carnival in 2014 when I sailed on Splendor from NY and went 5X that year....$500 for a balcony for 8 days.

I'll snag a good casino offer every so often and pay port charges only but would love to see some more offers like the original ones that got me hooked in the first place....LOL

I would love to see solo cabins or no single supplement. If they can’t or won’t do that, give us twice the VIP points for paying double.

I would love for them to bring back the Pixels packages they offered earlier this year. I know they couldn't keep up with the demand but they could tweak them and make them work. I got the packages for my sailings last month, next month and the following one and last month it was great. I think it was 175 pictures? I don't need them all printed like we got but it would be nice if we could pay say, $300 for ALL of the digital only images. There is hardly any cost for them to do this, aside from the photographers and the flash drives. They would make a killing doing this! For future sailings that I book and won't have the picture packages, I won't be spending much on pictures unless they could do this.

OH and tea. For us southerners, it'd be nice to have real sweet tea on board.

Bring back the MDR service & food quality that it was 10-15 years ago.

...and to squeeze in a second - stop building those crappy Vista class and go back to Spirit/Conquest classes and a real mega ship like Oasis class.
