Suite Process?

Recommended Posts

How about boarding, someone told me the concierge comes to get your party first and escorts them to suite.

I've only seen that with the Royal Suite on non Oasis/Quantum class suites.

As a suite guest, you will board first along with any "special parties (ie:Wedding)". No one will come to get you that I am aware of (unless you are on the 2nd leg of a B2B). You still won't be able to access your suite until 1:00. This was the way it was for us on Vision (Galveston). The Galveston terminal doesn't even have a separate lounge. Let us know how all that goes, as we have a suite on Liberty next April.....

What is the process for the larger Suites on Liberty? When will the concierge email us, boarding etc.

We will be in Presidential Suite soon. THX

expect an email the week before boarding.

LIB does not have the same amenities as Star Class suites do . you wait in the suite boarding area and will board after Pinnacle and wedding parties.

We have had the Presidential Suite on Liberty of the Seas the past three years on our cruise. The concierge has contacted us by email about a week prior. He has also met us in the terminal and escorted us onto the ship and directly to the Presidential Suite before all the rooms are available and we were able to drop off our carryon luggage and hang out in the suite, on the balcony, or free to go to lunch etc. Let me know if you have any more specific questions about the Presidential Suite.

Priority boarding only matters if you are at the terminal and checked in before boarding has started. Once boarding starts, they go through the priority list. Of course, the vast majority of people arrive after boarding has started so once you finish checking in, you just walk on.

No wonder it never shows when I book a suite for two

I have had to call to get the suite. Since it "requires" 8 people, they usually have it set aside and a manager has to release it into inventory to be booked. Also, when I have booked it in the past, I was booking it well over a year in advance.

Thanks so much...this agrees with what I've been told. Jorge mentioned it to us, but not sure if MJ is doing the Suites now or not. Good to know.

We booked it onboard Liberty well over a year and 1/2 ago...been waiting a long time. Actually was very reasonable. We split with our cruising friend couples.

Yeah Lynn, we did a GS on Vision also, another one coming up next April too. But Jorge had mentioned all these perks when we were there last year after we booked it. Really excited to get to experience this suite....expect to do a live review...if I'm not too busy;p

TCROWE did you ever have lunch or dinner on the balcony. I understand you can order off MTD and have it brought in free of charge...

We have had breakfast at least once on the balcony every year. We usually give the order to the concierge the evening before so he can get the order turned in. The first time we ordered over the phone ourselves and it was a total disaster (ordering for 10 people). We have not had lunch or dinner there, but you are correct that suites can order off the main dining room menu for room service.

I will be very interested in how everything goes with the 2 suites mentioned. We have the Royal Suite booked Sept. 2019 and the Villa Suite booked March 2020. Will look forward to hearing about boarding and what everyone thinks of the suites.
