D+ perks

Recommended Posts

This is from May 2018 Allure OTS sailing. Looks like more discounts than the Mariner repo sailing. The one I see in the second column bottom item is 30% off the cost of the alcohol package if bought onboard. I can’t seem to see that on the Mariner one. Sorry it was wrinkled before I made the photo but it’s fairly readable. The amount of credit for internet is more as well.

Wow. That says 30% says on ALL drink packages. I didn’t know they did the 30% was off Refreshment pkg. doesn’t say that on the Allure one.

Dollar amount is higher because pkg price is higher would be my guess.

Didn't really need drink pkgs with all the free liquor available on that trip.

And I think that the printout is a mistake. The 30% off is DEFINITELY only the Deluxe Package.

(further backed up by the fact that the laundry bag is NOT $30 for quite a while now. It's $35.)

Free is free, though. Just like internet credit.

One perk that is not listed (but has been given to us on our last three cruises) is a $5 casino slot credit. The flyer usually shows up in our cabin towards the end of the cruise. Last week DW and I walked in to the casino with the $5 credit and walked out with $50 in our pockets. Not a bad perk to play the slots with house money for a change.:)

The print out was from our Radiance trip in June 2018 and just happened to be on my phone.

I did look up the actual list left in our room that I had scanned and posted upon our return

1a55790abd278c6ed44b991e784fbe67.pngand it does state refreshment package and shows $35 for laundry.

Thx -

I believe it is for all passengers, regardless of C&A level or membership. We have only received the flyer a few times on selected sailings and it was offered ship wide. Haven't received it in the past year or so.

Now the 3 spin to wins tokens are another story. A sad story and usually worthless perk.

How about a D+ on a TA ....... 3 drinks loaded on your card between the hours of 5 to 8 pm? Any info?
It should be 3.5 hours.

Some ships will expand the lounge area to accommodate excessive amounts or upper tier passengers

Same as any other route: 3 drinks on your card during the hours the DL is open with the same selection of drinks available at the bars;..... or you can also go into the DL during the same hours and have as many as you want!!

An Channel Islander should appreciate that!

From the island where 2500 Alcoholics are clinging to a rock. (wink!)

Hello All,

Does anyone know if the kids (ages 15 and 13) who are Diamond Plus and in a connecting stateroom, also get a free bag of clothes laundered?

Thanks!

Stacy

Ha ha!! Thought that was an in house joke:eek::')

What’s the position on the independence with the CA lounge....does it still exist? It’s a few years since we have been on her looks like many changes since the refit. Just want to know so we can prepare ourselves 🥂🍷🍺 :o

No, coupons are different for guests under 18, and those don't include a free wash & fold bag.

The old CL on deck 10 has been replaced by interior cabins, and the old card room on deck 14 has been converted into a Suite lounge. The DL is still where it has always been on deck 14.

There is the DL on deck 14 which is for D and D+

There is a new CL also on deck 14 which is for those in suites and Pinnacles.

Both have outside seating areas.

The three vouchers during "happy hours" are uniform throughout the fleet, on any length cruise.

As John wrote, it's actually three and a half hours. (most of the time either 4:30 to 8 or 5 to 8:30)

I spend a lot of time and money playing cards in the casino but my husband doesn’t play. He received one of these $5 certificates on our last cruise (first time and we’ve been diamond plus for probably 8 cruises). He spent probably 45 minutes looking at every slot machine until he found one he thought was perfect. After 5 minutes, he won $85, cashed out, and walked away.

I waited to long to use mine on last Oasis. It expired on the 4th day as I recall.
