They disabled to Port webcams a couple of years ago. Said it was not part of their core business.

Boat arrived early, 5.15. Luckily no big horn noises to wake me up.

The only cam I could find is one from the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron (RMYS). If you look carefully , Golden is at Station Pier on the middle , right hand side of the screen grab.

Looks like you have scored a great day for sailaway

Disappointing the webcam is not available any more. I used to look at it whenever cruise ships are at Station Pier. Certainly is a beautiful day in Melbourne, cool but nice in the sun.

I can see the ships berthed at Station Pier on my daily walk and it'll be lovely to catch the Golden again, she's my favourite ship and I was on her for her maiden voyage to Melbourne when we were welcomed with a giant golden banner being held up by helicopters.  Sad I won't get to sail on her again before she leaves Princess.

Mum and I were on that one too. It was so cool to have the welcome banners 🙂

I got off her this morning and it was a very slow trip from Sydney! Had fun but it felt a bit disorganised in parts on board. Probably because of the short trip after the long one across the Pacific and the change of some crew.

It was my 2nd trip on her but after getting off the Majestic a few ago it highlights that in some parts she needs a bit of love and care but nothing to complain about.

I was in a window suite and was interested to see that P&O are selling these as 5 bed family cabins when she heads over. Will be interesting to see where the 5th berth is.
