Rare C-Dragons Posted November 1, 2018 #3 Share Posted November 1, 2018 (edited) Thanks so much for sharing these photos! I wonder what type of coin Lisa is putting into the container in the keel - U.S., French, or Greek? Edited November 1, 2018 by C-Dragons

Here we go again, ready to watch and see what they change from Edge - ha ha Re the coin -- as Apex seems to be coming to the UK perhaps Lisa may have a British pound coin rather than the French / Greek Euro ;-) :-)

Rare Presto2 Posted November 10, 2018 #13 Share Posted November 10, 2018 PS Sorry off topic, please forgive me. Just one question. Am just curious. If Apex goes from Southampton any gossip about where Silhouette will go from or to? Would love to sail on her again but not to Norway !
citruscruiser Posted November 10, 2018 #14 Share Posted November 10, 2018 Silhouette is scheduled to take over the South America route from the Eclipse, who is heading to the Australia route, in the end of 2020 and 2021
Lloyd555 Posted November 12, 2018 #15 Share Posted November 12, 2018 (edited) Apex sections at the Crist shipyard in Gdynia, Poland. Some sections at Saint-Nazaire's Chantiers de l'Atlantique ship yard. If the hull section in the middle (to the left of the cherry picker) in the photo above looks familiar, it is the same as the section below belonging to the Edge. Those are Magic Carpet grooves on the left and right. Edited November 12, 2018 by Lloyd555
Rare hcat Posted November 13, 2018 #16 Share Posted November 13, 2018 Thanks Lloyd.. I will be following...loved the EDGE threads. If APEX does not sail from US we probably won't be booking it,...Can't do those long flights anymore...
Tall-Cruiser Posted November 13, 2018 Author #17 Share Posted November 13, 2018 (edited) Lloyd - Thanks for the photo updates. Those Bow and Thruster sections are always amazing to see. It also reminds one how huge these things are. Lloyd - Sorry I just got on line a few minutes ago and just saw that you were looking for this thread. Thanks again. TeeRick Posted November 13, 2018 #18 Share Posted November 13, 2018 It would be nice to get the nice CC folks to move this thread outside of the Edge thread at this point. It should have its own location on the Celebrity board.

Maybe once Edge has either its first sailing with pax on the 25th or after the naming ceremony this separate Edge forum can merge in with the regular Celebrity threads and a new separate forum for Apex can start.
