My DD is still in Bremerhaven... So I hope she will get a glimpse when the Odyssey arrives there next week.

THANKS! to all of the folks who have posted pictures and videos of the amazing journey from construction to conveyance. Personally I would like to be aboard the ship and take a tour, which I know is impossible, but I do not think I would care to cruise on her.

On Marinetraffic when you move the mouse over the blue dot for the Odyssey it already says "Bremerhaven" - when I click on it it still says "Papenburg to Eemshaven".

 

I read that she was too heavy with the life boats on for the Ems river conveyance (meaning to much draft for the river). So that´s why the removed them and mount them in Eemshaven.

Both - Marinetraffic and Vesselfinder - show her with an early morning arrival in Bremerhaven tomorrow morning at 5 am (German time).

Just read on FB that due to heavy fog the departure from Eemshaven is delayed.

 

Not sure whether there will be a departure still today and whether the arrival in Bremerhaven will be delayed too.

She has arrived in Bremerhaven at 6:04 am. She´s moored at the container freight terminal right now. Unfortunately this area is not accessible for any photos (except from the seaside but you need a boat).

 

Maybe she moves later ...

DD told me that like the last few days thick fog set in coming from the sea. I just checked the webcam and you don´t see anything.

 

So even if she moves nothing can be seen...
