landsear Posted February 14, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2019 I was not able to get down to Tampa for my cruise today due to weather. Is it better if I cancel or no show? I don't want to screw my roommate over by canceling, I believe I have heard she would be charged the solo cruiser rate if I cancel? I also purchased the drink package. What is the best way to recoup anything? I know I'm basically sol at this point.

Rare little britain Posted February 14, 2019 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2019 Stay as no show. You will get a refund of the port taxes, tips if you have prepaid and your drinks package and any excursions you have bought. Your roomie will get double points (and more wardrobe space!) It's only a 4 night cruise with Cozumel as the only port so it is not really worth it to fly there for a sea day back to Tampa.

Merion_Mom Posted February 14, 2019 #13 Share Posted February 14, 2019 Did you by any chance purchase travel insurance? That will help ease the sting of missing your cruise. So sorry that this happened to you.
