I was happy to see Caribbean Stud.... Haven't seen that table game on my recent past cruises on other cruise lines

I had heard that they were starting to faze it out. I was on Radiance in 2017 and Adventure in 2018 and there was no Caribbean Stud table on either of those. I was glad to see it on Adventure this past March.

We were on  Adventure for 2 weeks this past February, and the ship was in fine shape.

We were on the same cruise as OP and the ship

is in great condition. The only places I noticed any wear and tear were in the elevators, mostly with the day of the week “sign.”

Our cabin (category 1L) was perfect. Didn’t notice anything amiss.

The elevators on Adventure had a full overhaul last year, with the day of the week signs being the last remaining old part. Faster, with new digital level signage and indicators.

The current Piano man is ....Perry Grant.  I listened to him several evenings as I walked through Schooner Bar from Casino.  He was pretty talented and always had a good crowd. He's an older gentleman with a bit of a Liberace flair in him. Mixed his music with crowd interaction.... You should enjoy him

Any idea how long Perry Grant will be on the ship?

Saw him on Celebrity and he was a riot with a big following that only became larger each night as passengers learned about his antics!

According to Perry's website, he is still in negotiations regarding his schedule from May onward. Actually, I am surprised to see he is on Royal Caribbean, as he appeals to an older audience. As someone mentioned, think Liberace.

He was on the Constellation  for our 14 night Southern Caribbean cruise in 2012.  He is an acquired taste and we could live without him quite well.

One more question concerning the coffee in Windjammer...is it still as bad?

Can you also get regular coffee in the Diamond lounge along with cappachino?

MARAPRINCE

I have never considered the coffee bad. Too strong?, yes. Bad?, no. I bring a travel mug with me on cruise because I like to wonder around in the morning and sip my coffee as I go. I always fill my cup 3/4 of the way with coffee and then top it off with hot. water. Perfect cup of coffee for me.

No worries here.... I did not find the coffee in Windjammer bad at all... But you can always go to Cafe Promenade and get the Starbucks brand for free as part of Beverage package (if you purchase one).

We are sailing Adventure for 8 nights the end of May.  This is only our second cruise, the first being Oasis last year.  I was wondering how difficult it is to get seating for the shows.  I reserved all our shows ahead of time on Oasis.  How early should we arrive for the shows?  Thanks!

For the shows we went to in the Lyric Theatre, we showed up 15-30 minutes beforehand (we did not see all of the shows). And even after the show started, there were still seats. I’m pretty sure all of the shows we went to were at 9 pm, except for one at 2 pm, so can’t speak to the earlier shows.

For the the ice skating show, we lined up before they opened the doors. We went on the last day of the cruise and there was still seating available as the show started.

HTH!

I thought Starbucks was excluded in the beverage packages?

Only beverages at licensed Starbucks venues are excluded.

Other venues may use Starbucks beans in their coffees and the drink packages will work there.

Ah, I got it...I misread what OP was saying.  I was thinking they meant it as go to Cafe Promenade to get Starbucks not realizing the Starbucks brand is used outside of the licensed Starbucks. That would have brought a smile to my wife's face....thanks for clarifying

My problem is that I do not like Starbucks coffee since I find it to be too strong.  I guess I will just have to bring a small jar of instant coffee to drink outside of the dining room.  Had to do this on the Explorer.

Thanks!  I was a little concerned about not being able to make reservations.  We will most likely be doing the later shows as well.

Great feedback on your cruise. Do you happen to know where The Key seats are located in the main theater?

I was on Adventure in March. I think the Key seats were with the Pinnacle and suite guests; upper level, center stage, all the way to the back against the control booth.

Thanks.  To me, those are not premium seats as I'd rather be on orchestra level close to the stage.
