The race track takes some room, no doubt, but RCI has ships with a "Seaplex" that occupies space in a similar way on the top 2 decks, though maybe not quite as much but those decks still feel more spacious than the BA+ ships do (or Bliss anyway).

 

For the purposes of this thread, we were originally talking about filling in the blank areas on the Encore, so moving the Haven isn't really an option. Also, the current deck plans for the Encore don't show Spice H2O anywhere. The laser tag takes up the space where Spice has been on other Breakaway Plus class ships.

Spice H2O is currently all the way in the rear. The Haven is all the way in the front. I simply switched them to put the adult pool and Spice H2O next to each other which makes more sense. On a 1,000ft ship, there is going to be walking.

Dedicated Teens Club for 12-14-year-olds and 15-17-year-olds like Carnival and RCL does! Also, not something I would change about the ship, but I would lower the overall price of the sailing, 'cause who doesn't like more money to spend onboard?

These two items plus-----

 

A dedicated screening room with stadium theater seats in which to show movies.  When films are shown in the Atrium, the noise from passers-by is disturbing.

Oh I agree. The Atrium spaces while nice aren't really used well in my opinion. Too many people there for some of what they wish to do. I would think some things could be held in the theater instead which often seems to be under utilized to me.

Yes it is! Glad to see at least one ship doing it. Engineering for it though might be a bit of a challenge from all of the extra weight of the moving water on one of the top decks.

Not having Spice H2O would be a shame. One of the nicest areas on most ships.

There's some speculation that it is being moved to the area where the laser tag is located on the Joy and Bliss, but that is not reflected on the deck plans yet.

I'm always looking from above as well...but it is very hard to see into the water with much clarity...at least for me.

Spice H2O on Epic was setup better than any other ship I have been on. If they could somehow incorporate that type of deign on Encore...that would be ideal.

Have some cabins below the waterline with a large picture window. A slide that ends up in the ocean and a submarine

There seems to be an elevated sun deck there.  I actually thought that was part of the Haven but maybe it's a relocated H2O (without spas)?

Take all entertainment out of the Atrium. I am convinced part of the problem with communicating with guest services is the need to scream over music, games, movies, whatever.  It is stressful and can't be easy for the crew either, especially with language issues. 

I love the Epic spa's open aft balcony. More of that please. 

I also love the Great Outdoors area on the Jewel class ships. I could sit out there all day (and have!)

Move the smoking area on the pool deck up to the sun deck area. I hated walking out of the Garden Cafe onto the pool deck on the Getaway and being assaulted with a cloud of noxious fumes.

Pick one deck and area (forward, aft, something) and put everything that attracts kids there.

This might be resolved already on the Bliss, there are 3 areas where smoking is permitted - starboard side of Spice H2O, Cigar lounge (CIGARS ONLY!) and the walled-off smoking area in the casino (players only).  If you're not smoking a cigar or playing in the casino, there's a single place to smoke.
