Rahi Posted September 9, 2019 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2019 I can book a JS for less money than the WS -"Suite Stateroom Guarantee" ..so does this mean I will be guaranteed a Grand Suite? Thanks for any help!!
Clarea Posted September 9, 2019 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2019 Nope, you would be guaranteed a JS or better. Don't know why it's more expensive. It's rare, but has happened before.
molly361 Posted September 9, 2019 #3 Share Posted September 9, 2019 (edited) No it means you are guaranteed a Junior Suite or better Edited September 9, 2019 by molly361
cb at sea Posted September 9, 2019 #4 Share Posted September 9, 2019 That's right...pay the smaller price, get the JS you want, and enjoy it! It's a lovely space!
not-enough-cruising Posted September 9, 2019 #5 Share Posted September 9, 2019 But the junior suite at the cheaper price right now because chances are will guarantee you won’t get anything better

Rare twangster Posted September 9, 2019 #8 Share Posted September 9, 2019 One time I did a WS with only 2 OS showing in inventory. I got a JS accessible cabin.

atb Posted September 9, 2019 #11 Share Posted September 9, 2019 I think Royal UP has affected assignment of suite guarantees. We have a JS, and were offered a Royal UP for Grand and Royal Suites. So; last effort to squeeze another $$$$ before they assign suites. We booked the cabin we want, and we're sticking with it.
Cruise a holic Posted September 9, 2019 #12 Share Posted September 9, 2019 I guess if you want a Grand Suite or above, you need to be in a Junior suite then try the Royal Up. You will then be guaranteed a Grand suite or above. A question, have done the Move up on celebrity. The web site has a site for already booked- then a pull down for move up. How does Royal do it? How can one locate and participate in the move up program for a future cruise?
