Got Your RCCL Future Cruise Credit yet for Dorian delay?

Is anyone (like me) still waiting for FCC from missed RCCL sailings from Hurricane Dorian?

I was supposed to sail on Sep 1 on Allure and opted to cancel.  I know RCCL said we’d see FCC for missed cruise due to Hurricane Dorian by September 20...but I saw some comments that some have already received them.

I was to sail Harmony and got my credit within 4 days. One of my employees was to sail on Allure and he is still waiting. He booked through a TA and I booked direct if that makes any difference.

I was on the shortened Navigator and got the FCC email last Sunday (two days after returning home)

When I called to apply it to my next cruise the agent looked it up and already had the info, I didn't have to give them the code from the email.  So, maybe just call and ask?

Ours was a full cancel/refund. Mariner

Our refund posted on September 11

Our exclusion credit has not posted yet, but I have an email reference about it.

We have been promised an FCC valued at 2 days. No word on it.

We seem to have lost the $50 OBC and the $500 casino certificate that was applied.

BTW, I'm guessing our FCC will be considerably less than fellow passengers due to the applied certificate.

John, did you come over to Harmony with the other ~800 Mariner passengers on 9/5?

We received ours within days (Mariner aug 30th)

have already booked a new cruise. That was an ordeal. Since we are sailing within 45 days, we had to pay for the cruise and then issued the future cruise credit to the card within 3-4 days. Feels shady— but I am watching my card to ensure full credit is issued

getting my onboard credit (150$) from our royal visa has proven to be more difficult. Was on hold an hour and a half while she was “waiting for a supervisor to approve it”. I am going to try again today

I was on Navigator B2B.  The 1st leg was extended and I received the FCC for that leg while on board.  The shortened 2nd leg FCC was promised by 9/20.  I haven't received that one yet.

Curious why you received an FCC for the extended cruise? We were on the 8/25 Harmony that was extended to 9/5, and while RCL extended drink, dining, and internet packages at no cost, and stopped collecting daily gratuities, there was never any indication of any other credits. We did get C&A points for all 11 days, however.

When they dropped CocoCay from our 3 night sailing they offered FCC.  At that point it was still a 3 night cruise.  They closed CocoCay early so employees could get home.

When they finally extended our cruise to 5 nights they still offered the FCC for missing CocoCay.

We received our FCC on Saturday Sep 7th from the shortened Harmony sailing of Sep 5-8.

E:mail was received while still onboard Harmony the last full day of the cruise.

Thanks. We were on that leg as well, but have not received anything yet.

I got my FCC for the shortened cruise that was originally this same Allure September 1st sailing.  It was in my email when I got back from the cruise.  Lots of folks on our roll call for the cruise that canceled got their FCC before the shortened cruise even sailed.  I would call Royal after September 20 if you don't have it..check all your junk mail folders.

Also might want to check the email of anyone else booked within your reservation to see if they got it instead.  I got one email with just my FCC and my mother got hers.  Then I got another one that had both.

We called our TA on Friday 8/30 to cancel the cruise Allure 9/1 - (that we could have cruised on, yes still a little bitter)   They then sent an email we had to confirm and return. Our futures cruise was received via email from RCCL on 9/1.  Other charges were credited back to us on our visa timely.

I didn’t go on the cruise.

Sent e-mail asking what I should do if I wasn’t going—no response

Called RCCL on Sep 1 to ask what I should do, was told I would get FCC & they cancelled my show reservations & sent e-mail with that info (no FCC attached)

Sep 8 my CC was refunded the taxes for the cruise—still no e-mail with FCC, been checking spam mail daily.  I booked direct with RCCL and had no one else attached to my reservation.

Saw comments from some others on cruise critic that they got FCCs before or after cruise, so was wondering if I was the only one still without FCC after 2 weeks.

i didn’t want to call & bother them before Sep 20 if there were still others waiting.  I just sent e-mail inquiring the status

...we’ll see.  I just want to wrap this thing up and put it behind me.

thanks for your reply

We canceled the 9/1 Harmony on 8/30.  Received the FCC a few days later.  Last week the gratuities and port fees and taxes were refunded to our credit card.  Still waiting for the other charges (drink packages, CocoCay cabana, internet, Chops, etc) to be refunded.  It's frustrating that it is taking so long to get our other charges refunded.

We were on the shortened Symphony that went out a day late, September 4. I've received an email with the FCC amounts and cert. #'s. But my TA says I also need to get a paper certificate in order for her to apply the $ to my next cruise? I would think just having the certificate # would be enough for her to process the credit?

I cancelled the 9/1/19 Harmony cruise on 8/29/19 and had my FCC via email within 24 hours.   All prepaid purchases have been refunded back except for our taxes port charges and the flight through Air2Sea minus the penalty.
