Rare Jeter02 Posted October 23, 2019 #231 Share Posted October 23, 2019 On the patter I noticed where the dining options are for Sur la Mer, they have like coffee and pastries and a brunch besides dinner. Is there a fee for the coffee and pastries and brunch? I'd be very surprised if it's complementary.
LoriPhil Posted October 23, 2019 #232 Share Posted October 23, 2019 Without the library, wonder if they will have a book exchange table available in the internet cafe or some other area. I bring lots of paperbacks and love to leave them for someone else (and snag something interesting that might be available).

I have a crazy request: One of my photos was chosen for the public areas and cabins of the Sky. The photo is of King Penguins in the Falkland Islands. If you see it anywhere, would you let me know, or better yet, snap a photo? We plan to cruise on the Sky in the next year of so, but would love to see my penguins having a good time without me. Enjoy your cruise and your scavenger hunt! I saw this on this video around 2:30 into the video: 4

dides Posted October 23, 2019 Author #237 Share Posted October 23, 2019 (edited) It's 7.45am on day 4 and we have arrived in Corfu. I woke up naturally so have come into the seating area of the suite and drawn back our balcony curtains ' the sea look calm and very blue. Yesterday we ordered in a room service breakfast using the app - very easy. And it turned up on the dot It was already getting pretty warm on the balcony so we ate inside. It was very good. Chris needed time to recharge his tech so I sat on the balcony for a while watching the tenders buzz around. It was pretty hot and I nodded off a few times 😉 It was great being so close ' this was our view when I first woke up There were no queues by the time we got to the tender around 11 and we took the obligatory pics of the ship in the Bay of Kotor. We wandered into the town and stopped at our usual drinking establishment for an iced coffee and local beer (for chris) and sparkling water for me.. I bought a cat fridge magnet and we headed back. Next time when we have more time we will aim to do the ho-ho bus. Once onboard we went to the aft part of the ship to take pictures of the concierge lounge and the gym. The wedding chapel was being used as a changing/dressing room by the ents team so no useful pics there. We checked out a lsunderette and were happy to see it was all set up (unlike the first 2 cruises on the Majestic) We chilled out for a while in the Concierge Lounge and then the buffet (not much food available by 3pm) and then had a few cocktails on the Lido deck before heading back to our room for an hour or so. We then ate at the Grill again - see cheeseburger in the Lido lighting And then checked out the evening buffet options. We spent the evening at quizzes in Princess Live!. The first was a guess the guitar riff to classic songs like La Bamba, Every Breath You Take, Whole Lotta Love and Blackbird. Some of the rest were a bit obscure and American for us so thankfully we were too late to play the full game. The next game was a new one about generations where you had reps from Baby Boomers, Gen X, Milkenials where you had to guess sayings, identify objects and music from each era. Chris helped out our Gen X team by recognising a song by The Darkness. The Millenials won overall though. We were on firmer ground and joined forces with a lady from Dallas to win the guess the airline from their logo trivia. We got 19 out of 21 and were especially pleased to beat the 2 teams who used the internet to look up their answers! We chose a notebook and another wine stopper as our prize. We stayed on for karaoke but no-one signed up so had a nice chat with Christoff one of the Assistant CDs and then called it a night. snoozecrooze Posted October 23, 2019 #238 Share Posted October 23, 2019 @dides! thank you so much for all the detailed reporting and the work you're putting into the Live while on your holiday! very much appreciated! I have some questions that might be a little random, so do apologize in advance. I noticed Adam Love is the inaugural ED from the video he was in with Alex on the Princess FB page & the Patter and I was wondering if he will also cycle out the same time as Alex? Alex mentioned he would be tag-teaming with Simone Smith way back when he first announced his move to Sky as CD, but I'm not sure if the arrangement is maybe just happening in the states? If you could ask Alex about Adam & Simone, that would be nice. Also, the sports complex on Deck 18 seems skimpier than what was offered on, say, the Regal. The basketball court is turned sideways now, but that seems to take away the room that used to exist for the outdoor exercise machines and table tennis tables. Are there still any of those machines or table tennis tables (and if they're relocated anywhere else/supplemented by anything else?) Thanks so much in advance! For breakfast I'm just curious to know if it's like the world fresh market place like it is on the Caribbean Princess where in the morning you can create your own omelette by throwing all your stuff in a cup and then they make it. Or is it the same old where you fill out a paper form checking off what you would like. Just came back from the breakfast buffet (left my phone in the cabin doh!) - they have a crew member taking omelette orders on a paper form and passing it to the chef. Jnsplace1 Posted October 23, 2019 #248 Share Posted October 23, 2019 Another question on the Enclave. Do you know how many lounge chairs are in the Enclave? Seen a few pictures, but it's hard to see how many chairs there are in there. So far it seems as if the space is "small" (could be photography).
