MDR Dinner

 

Decent menu, I like the apps,  so Laura indulges me. She does like the chicken parm, more so now that they swapped out the mashed potatoes for spaghetti. Unfortunately,  it wasn't very good 

 

One of my favorites,  pablano corn soup. I have them leave off the cilantro oil

 

Pretty good ceviche 

 

I always take a photo of the table card so I can remember names. Very important with MTD

 

Table 512 has ridiculously large chairs and is on the balcony. Deck 4

 

Huge chandelier,  I'm hoping Oasis gets a new one in drydock

I had the lemon sole, and no dessert.  It was uninspiring.  We enjoyed the service and hope to be back tomorrow.

So Harmony MyTime starts at 6:30 and no earlier, but Symphony you can go at 6?

I just switched from MyTime back to early traditional on Harmony because 6:30 is too late. 

I’m getting befused!!

Yeah....this^  I just found out about the Harmony time, and now need to change our Thanksgiving cruise next year.  Seems like 6:30 would make some show times difficult.

Am following you and @aring75.  Enjoying both very much.  Is it possible to get a picture of you taking a picture of aring75, while they are taking a picture of you?  Would be like a crossover thread.  I mean Laura is already in their thread (from last year I think you said).

Ohio, I have no first hand knowledge. If you look at the description they raised like 1.8 million on Kickstarter, and have 4.5 stars with 134 ratings, so I would think so. 

 

Plus imagine the jealousy you'd invoke when  pull that bad boy out.  Love the hashtag, would also like to see  #re-suck

Exactly! I was looking forward to dining at 6, the one choice evidently we won’t have!

MTD on Symphony is 5:15

 

Harmony starts at 6:30 because the sneak an extra 1st seating in the MDR on Deck 3

My planner wouldn't let me reserve anything earlier than 6:30 even though I tried reserving right when reservations became available. When I get on the ship I will go right to the dining room to see if I can change to a earlier time.

Finally caught up!  Enjoy cruising with you two (and seeing pictures of the adorable Belle--we have  two of her Scottish clansmen).

 

Noticed that about Harmony.  We like to eat by 6:30, too.  I'm still reserving for 6:30 and hoping if we go down earlier, we can eat earlier.  We're in a JS -- can we eat dinner in CK?  We were able to try it one night on Quantum in 2014, but I have no recollection of that meal; would like to try it again.

 

I'm looking forward to next week, too!

Harmony tries to accommodate the JS passengers.  CK manager is Ace. We go 2-3 times per week

I think we enjoyed 1977... which is when we graduated from High School....  and we are going to a classmates property for a bonfire Friday night, it is supposed to get down to 30....

Good crowd tonight

 

First off the drones to start the show are the coolest things ever on Royal. So mesmerizing,  I didn't even take pictures. Might do video next week. 😎  I actually enjoyed them more than the sand artist on Oasis 

 

Anyway, the actual show is about a jewel heist, and a chase thru time that begins and ends in London,  circa 1977. 

 

You can't do England without these guys. Spoiler alert,  some were gals.  

 

This is the first heist. Diamonds 

 

This may be Kali,  lots of lifts.  I think the male soloist wiped out right before his act, and he skated off holding his shoulder. Not sure what we missed

 

The story isnt important,  it was just fun.

Overall, my new favorite ice show.

 

However, if you sit down front, wear a jacket. It actually shows at one point. Brrrrr❄🌬

 

And off to Hairspray
