Often if there is a server who really goes out of the way for us we will give an additional tip on our last visit.

Sailing predominantly in the Mediterranean I rarely see anyone near us tipping at any time including the last night.

Same here.

In the UK, if your sitting at a Bar/Pub, is it customary to tip the bartender?

Same with drink pkg drinks🤔

I plan to on Liberty due to $18 pkg, but your regular pkg gets charged around $10 per day. So thats close to $1 per drink

No.

Most pubs sell food and I tip 10% of our total bill.

Most places when paying by card offer an opportunity to leave gratuity on bill but I always give our servers cash tips.

Lots of people just leave small change.

Thanks. It wasn’t meant as a personal question. Do bartenders get a good hourly/salary where tips are not necessary?

At least minimum wage £8.75 per hour around $11 per hour.

Always happy to answer questions if I can.

Graham.

$1 per drink, but don't wait till the end of the week.  If you tip as you go, they will make a point to be right there with your next drink.  They always see us when we walk in, and have have our drinks almost as soon as we sit down.

We have never waited.  And like every else, they know our preferences by day 2.  Mr Spooks Jack and Cokes never run out.
