Love new perks when I level up in tier but not feeling much excitement with Elite Plus

We are simply grateful for the perks that have value to us like the Elite breakfast and an occasional visit to the cocktail hour...We are E+ will never make Zenith but who cares! 

We feel the same and are grateful for the perks we receive as Elite Plus. Celebrity doesn't have to give us anything in the way of perks, but since they do, we try and enjoy them all. The likelihood of our ever reaching Zenith is slim to none and we are o.k. with that. We recently spent two months on the Solstice and were treated like family the whole time. Lovely people from top to bottom, vessel sailed professionally and safely, consistently wonderful food - what could we possibly complain about? Nada!

We make Elite + after our Reflection MardiGras cruise in Feb (& will be b2b with 2 Mar). We’re most looking forward to the increase of internet minutes. I know we’ll never make Zenith & that’s ok.

I have been elite+ since level was introduced and have travelled several times in Royal Suite.  I have never had anyone at bar or restaurant ask for elite+ to identify themselves so they can be served first.  Posts like yours which are made in jest result in others who may not be experienced either demanding priority treatment or feeling unappreciated because they are at lower level.

and you never will.  
 

I would hope to think that anyone reading my post would have sense enough to see that it is a jest by the emojis.  
 

And being Elite+  some of the perks are priorities that are in reality mostly a joke because almost every passenger has some kind of priority.

With Elite, I got access to free breakfast at Tuscan restaurant. My favorite part of that is the free smoothies. (Wish I could get free smoothies anywhere at any time.)

Then I became Sapphire in the casino.

- Free unlimited internet

- free classic drink package at any bar and restaurant at any time. (No longer limited to when the casino bar is open, which is when not in port.)

With Elite Plus, the only benefit to me is an additional bag of laundry.

Sorry fstuff1 but your post made me chuckle just a bit.  If you have spent so much money on Celebrity casinos to reach the penultimate Sapphire level, why do you care about an extra bag of laundry?

I am elite +.  Like the specialty coffees and teas. Love Tea Forte.  I buy it online to use it at home.  Free laundry and WiFi is nice. For years I was elite. When elite+ and zenith were introduced, I got a few more extras. Not really worth much, but nice.  I prefer loyalty programs that offer discounts to loyal guests and special amenities like free specialty dining, drinks anytime, unlimited laundry, and luxury toiletries.

yeah, i would like a free dinner or 2 at a speciality restaurant rather than a 2nd bag of free laundry.

ncl gives their Platinums (equivalent of Elite) 2 free dinners. (altho their free dinners are getting watered down with nickel and diming)

 

heck, if you made multiple tiers (ie: Elite and Sapphire) then reward us with some kind of usable bonus perk to make up for the duplication of perks.

I love the free laundry, especially those hot glued on laundry tags that irritate my neck and sometimes difficult to remove without destroying the garment.

 

In reality X has one of the best if not the best loyalty program.   We can make jest of it or complain but it has a lot of good perks.

 

Actually the best perk  is the reciprocal status for MGM that we also were able to use to match with Caesars with their  promo of matching other reward clubs.  We saved a few hundred dollars on our last trip to Vegas and staying at other casinos while traveling.   We also get free shows and  $100  credit to apply for one dinner at any restaurant. 
 

if you want more info apply for the match at MGM and then at Caesars.

and that is basically one of the best perk if you have a bev pack  and or other perks that you paid for

i will always wait patiently at a bar and many times tell the BT to serve those before me that are in need of a drink unless they are very rude and try to get served ahead of me.  🤬. Am referring to those that just walked up to the bar and claim that they are next and while everyone else is politely pointing to the one that is.     I don’t want them to think that by being an A hole they can get rewarded.  
 

Otherwise I am never that desperate for one.
