jperry2011 Posted February 9, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2020 We have been on the Carnival Pride 3 times now out of Baltimore, twice to bahamas and once to bermuda. All the cruises were nice. Bermuda a little more than the Bahamas. Not willing to fly so we would like to hear some other opinions from people that cruise Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian on what cruises and ships they like the best from these ports. shipgeeks Posted February 10, 2020 #4 Share Posted February 10, 2020 Grandeur of the Seas, out of Baltimore, has a number of interesting itineraries, short, medium, and long. We've done many, and enjoyed them all.
Rare mskaufman Posted February 10, 2020 #5 Share Posted February 10, 2020 Out of both NYC and Baltimore you can go north to New England and Eastern Canada.
princeton123211 Posted February 10, 2020 #6 Share Posted February 10, 2020 One of the nicer trips we've had in a long time was New York to Bermuda on Oceania Insignia (technically owned by NCL but a more upscale subsidiary). Smaller ship and 3.5 days docked in Hamilton and St George which gave you better access to the island than being docked in the Dockyard where the big ships are.

njhorseman Posted February 10, 2020 #8 Share Posted February 10, 2020 The last two winters we've done b2b Panama Canal full transits on the NCL Gem that originated in NY . We're on the Gem right now. We boarded on January 4 and the ship will be back in NY this Friday, February 14.
navybankerteacher Posted February 10, 2020 #9 Share Posted February 10, 2020 There are some good itineraries from Boston - which is as easy to get to from Central Penn as Norfolk.
George C Posted February 10, 2020 #10 Share Posted February 10, 2020 Celebrity and RCCL have lots of ships leaving from New Jersey these are our favorite lines.

NY and Cape Liberty NJ as well as NYC. Dozens of choices among Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, NCL and Carnival just to name a few. Cruises that go North and those that go down as far as the Southern Caribbean and every length from 5 to 14 days.
