No ads here, I’m pleased to say (iPad - it’s all too teeny on my phone)

Graham - you have a new medal for your avatar!  Do we have to pay a pound to speak to you now?  🤣🤣🤣

Diamond Class sounds very impressive🙂

What benefits will you get?

Thank you @Eddie99

Diamond is 80 nights.

Diamond plus is 175 nights.

You get double points when you stay in a Junior or full suite or cruise single.

Pinnacle is top level at 700 nights.

I would love to speak to you all although Pauline is much more talkative than me.

I put my Princess Captains club Elite badge on first but it looked drab so I put my Royal Caribbean Diamond plus badge on as it is more colourful.

We have been Diamond plus for 10 years on RCL.

Benefits

5 free drinks each daily.

1 free photo each.

1 free speciality meal each.

1 free laundry.

Discount off RCL logo products.

Diamond lounge access.

In our cabin on embarkation

1 bottle of champagne.

1 bottle of beer.

2 bottles of flavoured soda.

6 free bottles of water.

We are 14 nights from Caribbean level on P&O and our next 5 cruises are on P&O.

We love cruising.

I have been out for my walk and on the way back down our road the 6 year old twins who live a few houses up stopped me to ask "Are you OK because we haven't seen you for nearly a week and mum said that we can't come to knock on your door and pester you because she has seen you when we were at school but we have been told be school that we have to look out for old people when it is cold".  I wonder how old they think I am ?

Anyone over the age of 18 will be absolutely decrepit to 6 year olds 🤣👵

She approves of rib of beef for Sunday roast too!

(All eyes on ensuring she doesn’t actually eat any of the bone, just the gristly leftovers)

Afternoon all. Had a good day yesterday, had our grandson for a couple of hours yesterday morning then visited Mum after lunch.

Today we went up Bluewater this morning but couldn’t get much that I wanted so were home by 1-30pm.

John got a new dress shirt though.

I’m not getting adverts  on my phone but I do have an ad blocker on it!

We are loyal to all of them, so are'nearly'. 12 nights to Diamond on RC. 4 nights to platinum on NCL. Our next Arvia cruise pushes us up to......not sure.We are platinum on Warner, that gives us 15% off drinks. So Arvia, then, Anthem ,then NCL. Loyal to a fault we are.🤣

You need to be very careful giving your dog cooked bones, they can be very brittle and can break into big pieces that they can choke on.

Yes, I know

Those pleading brown eyes, you know …

She only had it for a couple of minutes.  No crunching!

Good reminder though

Apparently according to AuroraWatch (sky, not the ship) there is a quite a good chance of seeing the Northern Lights in northern England and Scotland this evening.

We got back on Thursday from our QM2 cruise from Cape Town to Sydney and surprisingly had virtually zero jet lag. Our management of the return flight seemed to work, i.e. live uk time after leaving Sydney with regards to when to sleep and eat on the flight, get the pain over before landing. We had a couple of uncontrolled 10 minutes naps over the first couple of days back but a part from that we got back into uk sleep patterns without a problem.

We normally book cruises 18 to 24 months in advance but we have nothing booked after next February so are starting to look at possible cruises for 2025/6. We have now (after next February) been on all of our bucket list world area cruises so going forward it will be mostly cruising for cruising sake not the destination. We have cruised Cunard, P&O and Princess but the Princess cruises seem to appeal to us more after initial browsing.

off my bucket list .

Not a cat in hells chance of me doing them being the reason 🙃

Anyway ,welcome home and happy hunting for you future cruise bookings.😀

Good morning.

It was 0°C first thing so I had to clear frost off the car windscreen.

It is sunny now.

I hope everyone is well.
