I was on crew for 19 years.  I flew Presidents Reagan, Bush 41, and Clinton.  I retired with 29 years in the Air Force.  I just retired last year from Netjets.  Flew with them for 18 years.

Thanks for posting your Santorini photos!  We stopped there in 2008 on an eastern Med cruise on an X ship.  As you may know, the town is situated on what is/was part of an ancient volcanic crater--the other sides of the crater have disappeared, I guess.  On that cruise we had a lecturer who talked about the geologic history of the Med.--very interesting!  It used to be an inland sea until the west end opened up thousands of years ago.

I just love this.  In my glory days I did a helmet Dive, where you walk along the bottom.  I was hooked.  I got home for that cruise and took SCUBA lesson and became PADI certified. 

Then I did most of my diving for years in lower NY harbor, out side the narrows, along the Brooklyn Coast and out to Sandy Hook NJ, out by the light houses too.  That was a lot different that the warm water helmet dive!!

If and when you visit the Med I would highly recommend the town of Arbelobello (the port is Brindisi).

We cruised on the MSC Musica out of Venice.

Just amazing. I love sunsets and have many gorgeous ones, but I wouldn't to bore everyone else!
