Picked up from one of the 5000 BFF's on Harmony. Got back Sunday May 15 woke up Wed with a sore throat, tested negative. Thurs went to my healthcare place tested negative. Friday self tested POSITIVE. Tested yesterday for my cruise POSITIVE. Have only a cough now a week later and feel a bit puny. No fever Sorry to hear that, hope you are feeling better. Don't feel to bad, almost everyone cruising now comes down with covid either on the ship or not long after. I emailed them to ask about a refund or switching it to a later date. Booked for October. If that falls might try the cc dispute route. Nothing to lose by trying

We have a second fridge/freezer in our lower level. Even though there’s only the two of us here, the freezer comes in handy for large items like turkeys and when I stock up on sale items. The fridge is essentially a beer fridge during pool season. Another seal option is a vacuum chamber sealer. It handles wet seals, like soups, meats with a marinade. I use an Avid Armor. I originally bought it to use in sous vide cooking. Stuff sealed and frozen is much better. I also reseal items for the refrigerator and they last longer such as bacon. Guacamole and pesto will not discolor. 6

I'm not much of a baker like my sisters and daughters are, but I do make a good carrot cake, as well as oatmeal cookies. 15 hours ago, h20skibum said: We went to the Farmer’s Market this morning. Quite a few booths set up. It wasn’t too busy when we went. Maybe because their prices are pretty high, just like their gas out here in California. What $20 gets you Hillside vegetation control was going on Yes, that is done with goats that they move around. This just reminded me that our Friday Farmer's Market begins today. My cousin moved to Tennessee several years ago, and raises goats. He names every one of them at birth; some according to the Season!

I would love to see those projectors and where they are positioned to project such a large image. They have to be extremely powerful. Can’t get up close to the OH atm and the only article I can find re the projections is 2013 so way out of date. When there are future projections, I will see if I can get close enough for photos of the equipment. I am learning to sleep on my back because with the moderate osteoarthritis in my hips when I lie on my side my knees touch each other when sleeping causing pain when I wake up. Soft pillow between your knees will solve that. I’m a side sleeper and even take my “knee” pillow when I travel.

He's looking into Colleges now, even though he's only a Freshman. He sounds like a great kid who has his head on straight. Friends of ours have a son who went to SCAD and is now doing special effects work in Montreal, which apparently is one of the handful of cities around the world where special effects companies have gathered. He is loving being young, single, in Montreal, and doing work that he loves with several of his friends from SCAD. He did the clouds in the upcoming Jordan Peele movie titled Nope. The clouds supposedly to play a big role in the movie. I'm looking forward to seeing his name buried somewhere deep in the credits. I'm not sure if SCAD is a good choice for producing, but it has a great reputation. And Savannah is a great city to visit your kid while in college.

There is more to see but the highlights seen tonight will do me for now. DH is seeing a show at the Opera House tomorrow night and I was originally going to join him but I think my feet need a rest & he plans to walk there and back via the Sydney Harbour Bridge which is a no from me. That event looks very impressive and you took some great pictures. Is it an annual event? If so, I might try to schedule our eventual trip to Sydney around that event.
