At least our long range forecast is for good weather for our travel day next week.  Signed up for our testing appointments at Walgreens, near our hotel next Thursday in Florida.

Good to hear you'll be having good travel weather for next week.  Excellent that you are scheduled for your test near your hotel!

Mojito is always my go to drink when on land or sea.  I also like mules with Belvederre or Grey Goose vodka.  At sea I like an occassion caribbean mule or rum punch with shot of kraken ontop.  Watermelon or chocolate martinis are good too if you want something sweet.

I'm excited to try an espresso martini with Baileys on my next cruise.  I have never had a painkiller and will try that too!

This Debbie does not like red wine either.  I like a German Riesling or an Italian Pinot Grigio.

Wow! My list keeps growing good thing we have vouchers and free drinks in casino!

I'll have to put the caribbean mule and chocolate martini on my list, Debbie!  I do love a good red sangria!  Oh wait!  I just looked at my list, and both of these drinks are on it!

I haven’t gotten any of the free tests through my insurance yet as we have a decent supply. I did get the free N95 masks at CVS last week. They had them at the pharmacy and at the front registers.

I have gotten several of the free N95 masks at CVS, but I find it to be very uncomfortable!  I pulled the bottom elastic off of the mask, which made it more tolerable, but it looks like I won't be needing them for the cruise tomorrow.

Cosmos are my other evening go to drink besides the Espresso martinis with Bailey's.

Going on my list, OB!

We've gotten used to the show trying to make it look like a close race between the last 2 teams.  I can't recall EVER having the last place team beat the second from last place team to the mat.  We actually rewound the show last night to see how different the sky was between when Arun and Natalia finished compared to when Ryan and Dusty finished. Even though they tried to make it look like Arun and Natalia got lost, we're guessing that Ryan and Dusty were at least an hour after them.

I didn’t think to look at the sky, but we try not to get sucked into thinking it was a foot race.
Do you remember some years back when a team was still laboring in the dark and Phil came to tell them they’d been eliminated? They knew they were out of it, but we’re determined not to quit.

No matter how we’re manipulated by editing or turned off by some contestants, we will never miss an episode!

I didn't like them either, way too tight on my big head!  I will stick with the KN95.

I am glad you finally got your test results and are good to go.  Have a great cruise!

Speaking of test kits, we both tested negative!!  If George can bring our suitcases down the stairs without breaking a leg we’ll be on our way to Florida shortly!!  (I’d love to live in a house with a ground floor master bedroom…)

Congratulations on testing Negative!  Wishing you and George safe travels, and a great cruise!🛳️

Sending prayers for all the people involved in the Ukraine conflict.  🙏

OMG.  This is so tragic.  I was talking to a young woman outside my condo this morning, and she said her parents are in the Ukraine.  God help everyone over there.😢🙏

Who are you rooting for ?

I think I like the YouTube couple.  This is the first time in awhile that I have liked the last 5.  Did you like when the challenge when they put the clue on the food wrapper?  I thought that was fun watching them get confused.

Many years ago there was a bar in Brooklyn called Warm Beer,Lousy Food.My friend Danny worked there. One could order the weirdest sounding drinks that were named by the bartenders. On my last cruise a guy was wearing a tee shirt from that bar .We had some interesting conversations.

I remember going there many, many years ago, Lenny!

Good evening.

In England all men aged 65 are invited for an Aortic Abdominal Anuerism scan.

I had mine yesterday and fortunately I don't have an Anuerism.

Busy work day today.

It was a high of 42°F and cloudy today.

Our legal requirement to isolate in England ceased today.

I hope everyone had a great day.

Prayers 🙏 for the good people of Ukraine.

Take care and stay safe.

Graham.

Great news about your anuerism scan being negative, Graham!

Good to hear the isolation requirements have ceased.  Yes, prayers for the good people of Ukraine.🙏

Early in the race I felt like Ryan and Dusty was going to be last because of how down they looked when they were talking to them about the experience.  Those interviews during the race give you a hint.  You know they do that either after the challenge or at the end of the race.  I couldn’t  buy into them being last though because I just couldn’t see Arun and Natalia beating them.
We thought when Ryan and Dusty took a break and went to the top to look over, it already looked like the sun was setting. I too think the lighting gave it away.

My luck my suitcases would break my front door as they crashed into it or get stuck in the middle of the staircase.

Speaking of your front door, has your door been fixed yet, after the wind storm?

Not yet, the contractor rescheduled for next week.   Eric put on a dark red (burgundy) bungee cord to match our shutters and front door so it doesn't look that bad.   I kept getting out of my car and walking up to the front door but now used to going into the house through the garage.    Would be easier if I could simply park my car in the garage but my convertible and Eric's other car are stored in the garage with car covers on them for the winter.      Thank you for asking😍

Remember the other name for it,Crazy Country Club.Somebody wrote a book about it that I bought because it was about the people that worked there and I thought my friend Danny would be mentioned but he was not.

There was also a documentary that came out about 10 years ago.I never saw it.

Remember Chalk?

Whenever we sailed out of Miami we’d stand at the rail as soon as we boarded to watch those seaplanes land and take off.
Residents of the Bahamas took them to Miami to shop every Saturday. Like an aeronautical Uber.

Just watched the last Amazing Race and admittedly it made me tear up 🤷‍♀️
could be the stress, but still 🤣

Haven't watched this season. Used to be the biggest fan. But I got put off by Survivor and Big Brother this year and just haven't the energy to get involved.

Was it as good as Jonathan and Victoria from the early days?

We had dinner at A&B Lobster house.

we had a conversation at dinner 8 days in Key West with a wonderful house with a lovely private pool a car bikes to ride, and awesome location for free. The downside is we spend.  $200 per couple tonight at dinner.  I think K and I breakfast at the French Croissant place was 60$.  We cheaped out picking up bread and meats and cheese at Fausto’s with some quacamole I made from avocados from Publix and chips for 4 was about 30. We eat at least 2 meals out every day and the range from 50 to 200 per couple.  Cruises are a bargain.

Another great day on our rock and romance cruise, we had breakfast in suite restaurant and drummer for Guess Who was sitting next to us , I asked him if he was playing with the band when they visited the White House while Nixon was president and he was there , I had remembered that they told the band you can’t play the song “ American Woman “ , he gave us details of the visit , very friendly guy who was with the band since the 1960’s, they asked them to play since they had British royalty and the band was Canadian . We then saw the band Ambrosia at the pool then the Guess Who later they were fantastic, they had dinner after the show in the suite restaurant and we applauded them when they entered the restaurant. Will add a few pictures later, long day.

@dani negreanu I’ve just read your reply to my query about your trip to Dubai .  Thank you for your lengthy reply.   I had the same impression visiting Belgium but that was years ago so things must have changed . They were very friendly towards me and offered their help even when not asked.

I’ve been watching the news today about Ukraine and wondering if you still have family and friends in Romania .  The two countries are neighbors and most likely Ukrainians are fleeing into Romania as well as Poland .  Very sad and tragic situation and I hope it ends soon .
